I make Melt In Your Mouth Chicken and I always put it under the broiler for a few minutes to put a bit of "toast" on the top. It tends to intensify the flavor a little to me too! More pleasing to the eye and less drab looking.

Mandy, I had some colorful peppers already cut up in my fridge that needed to be used, I cut up an onion, added some already cooked chicken and followed the fajita recipe. Hubby can’t have shrimp, but yours looked so delicious! This is a HUGE hit for us! The fajita mixture is delicious. We used low-carb flour tortillas from Aldi (4 net carbs per) and had a delicious low card supper! This will be a staple on our menu! Thank you for sharing. It was super easy and very tasty! (We added sour cream, salsa and shredded cheese because we had all that on hand.)

if you'll fry a little bit of garlic and onion in some oil then add ur refried beans with a little lard or water(most ppl dont cook with lard anymore but Hispanics do. thats how they do their refried beans. theyre so much better that way) theyre super creamy and dont dry out as fast.

For American cheese loaf, just go to deli and ask for 2lbs of American cheese unsliced, then u can shred it. It really does make a difference the way it melts, so yummy, I use it for Mac n cheese. It is not the same as Velveeta, Velveeta is much much softer and would be very hard to shred.....in my opinion there's a big difference
