Yea I'm so glad to see him giving Falco some serious playtime and he is being smart with it. He is shooting more and racking up damage vs running in blind every time but he also mixes it up. I was worried but this is what you have to do agaisnt Hbox these days. He plays so many Foxes you need to call him out and switch things up.

9:40 Hungrybox does a dair after getting hit by Mango's descending bair. If you look frame by frame, you will notice that if Hungrybox didnt do the dair, the utilt would have connected. Hungrybox is aware that by throwing specific moves, he contorts his hurtbox to avoid getting hit. This is pretty sick

hbox absolutely would not have gotten hit by that utilt, even if he didn't dair. you can use the steel beams and lights in the background of pokemon stadium as a reference point for the arc of mang0's uptilt (i'm looking at the frame before he contorts via dair). the uptilt hitbox does not extend that far. i still think it was a good dair though

Game 4 is mostly Mango running over Hbox. I don't blame Hbox, when I played mango, it was so much harder than I initially thought. Once he gets going, it's very hard to stop him. He's sooooo good at getting in your head. And then you start fucking up everything. The pressure is even more real when you play against it. Shit happens. On to game 5

10:15 Hungrybox fails to adapt AGAIN. It's been many times that he unwilling to fully commit to going all the way in the corner and Mango's picked up on this. He dash dances in the corner again and looks to pick up and advantage once Hbox is no longer invincible. I think this mistake cost him a lot this set. It feels scary to go all in vs corner falco and miss our opportunity because he jumped and now you lost center, but it needs to be done once in a while to keep the falco honest. Is he keeping a read for later when it may matter more?

Holy fuck, I didn't realize Mango's falco beat Hbox this recently...I wish mango would play his Falco against puff more these days because he is really quite patient with his falco now. Although this summit Mango was being exceptionally patient at times and able to pressure puff in ways that made Hungry Box make bad decisions. He can do this with his fox too, but I feel like Mango might do better against Hbox by not having to switch spacies in order to play him.

Pedro Gonzalez for guys making a living depending on first or at least second place finishes, I wouldn't agree in the least bit about this being a little bit of money. 1st place (consistant) finishes equates to a 6 figure annual salary if you consider most big tournaments, while even placing prestigiously at 3rd could put you at a full time server's salary. Don't undermine the choice.
