Props to the father. He explained the situation to his son Shintaro very well and didn’t force him into the strategic marriage to save the company but rather give him the choice to make his decision. I think it’s the first time something like this has happened.

I saw another story, similar plot but the father didn’t really explain. He just used his son as kind of a pawn and the MC rebelled against his father but in the end he ended up getting married to the girl he was supposed to get married too.

This is better than the previous strategic marriage episode from a month ago, the father here talked things out in a good manner with the MC regarding the strategic marriage. Ryoka deserves the cupid reward for bringing both Shintaro and Kaori together as a couple.

Elder sister was just looking out for her younger sister. She didn't know how they were together, just that her baby sister was doing the role that was meant for her. Since it wasn't called off, I feel she was going to go in and just take the strategic marriage so her little sister didnt have to be forced to, not knowing they both loved each other and it wasn't really about the companies anymore. After the elder sister realized that, she was perfectly fine with it cause its something that her little sister wanted, and not forced into doing.

I hope Ryoka finds someone cause. Honestly, she seemed really nice once we got to meet her. It is clear that if she had known what her sister did after she left, she probably would have taken engagement to spare her that fate. Heck she offered let guy cheat and bear his kid just to protect her. That not an easy thing to do. However, she ended up playing a cupid here. Given the mc and her sister a chance to date and fall in love. She said herself she missed out on a good chance but at least her sister is happy.

i just want to say that the thumbnail art got to me and i had a flashback from watching this. it was like watching this similar thing 4 weeks ago with the father wants to see me up, but i rebel clip along with that thumbnail art. when ryoka says she "let a good thing go to waste". maybe if you weren't like those rumors circulating about you and became more like you're younger sister, then perhaps you might've had a chance. but, i doubt it, knowing you. and the way she said you can cheat on me, i was getting some made lovekoi manga vibes with that fake pregnant ex-girlfriend episode. yeah, I don't see shintaro having ANY fun with the older sister. so glad he didn't get with ryoka and stayed for kaori. i was honestly skeptical about ryoka REALLY caring about kaori from the way she suddenly showing up, asking him to break things off and marry her all the while not knowing a thing about shintaro despite being a "genius". it's been a whole month since i would see this art style and character design called "i wanted to help my friend's sister come to school, but she made me buy her underwear...". i thought shintsro didn't like hanging out in cliché places but does so all if the sudden? kaori looks almost like that girl from manga angel neko oka with the introvert falling in love with his friend's sister and ryoka looks like that female boss who dislikes the mc clip. nice to hear from rebecca and paul again since 4 days ago. this was good compared to yesterday's.

Some of the comments seem to agree that Ryoka was spoiled, but I don't see it that way. I see her as being strong-willed. She doesn't want someone else running her life for her. She wants to be able to choose for herself. As soon as she realized that her beloved baby sister would be wed in her place, she returned, ready to sacrifice her own happiness ensure her sister's. She was prepared to endure a loveless marriage, and even bear children, for her sister's sake. She truly is a wonderful person, and I hope she found her own happiness.

9/10. It would’ve gotten a 10/10 from me if not for the ending. The older sister did not be to need here and it just seemed like needless padding after coming back for no reason after running away from home like a child and “testing” the MC’s faith and love in Kaori just seemed unbelievable to me and the ending kind of flopped for me. Seriously the sister had no right to speak the way she did, at least to me, and the ending could’ve been better but I guess it all worked out in the end, foolish rude older sister not withstanding of course. But besides that last bit in the vid this was great. 9/10.
