This kind of story makes my day: The childhood friend isn't the usual annoying tsundere one that teases, verbally abuses and insults her crush instead of being directly honest with her feelings. Both had communication and Yamato stood up against the two girls that has been badmouthing Mimika and taught them a lesson not to talk behind people's backs ever again and both becoming lovers in the end. We need more of this trope in the future.

I like how Yamato defending Mimika while she listen to him instead of immediately believing one of the girls bad mouthing her. I glad that the two ended up together at the end of the manga dub. However, it’s ashamed that the issues of people bad mouthing Mimka and people misunderstanding Yamato is not resolved at the end of the story.
