That night, he fell asleep, and he went into a "time slip" and woke up on like the first day she started acting that way, but he was surprised when the fmc didn't act anything like she was before. Turns out she borrowed a book from him that he found valuable and got a spill on it but said she lost it instead because she was afraid of what could happen. That's when the mc said i never wanted to speak with you again, and they drifted apart. That was before the time slip, so after the time slip, she was acting very differently and invited him over to her house. She had also had a time slip. When she was rejected by the mc, she had fainted from hyperventilating and woke up on that day, too. So at her house she showed him the book with the stain and he was fine with it and wished she had told him that before. The reason she suddenly acted mean is because the book he was reading had that kind of fmc, and she thought he liked that kind of girl, so she acted like that. He only liked it because it was fiction and he did not like that kind of girl irl. So they became boyfriend and girlfriend and treasured the rest of the school life they were able to redo this time.
