I wish there was a bookstore dedicated just for manga where I live. I just got a new haul yesterday when I went to BAM and two series came in from Amazon. I found this channel randomly (KZbin algorithm seemed to work in my favor this time) and seeing other people's collection makes me happy 😄. My collection is pretty random but makes sense to me lol. Love this channel

3:27 i bought the first 4 volumes in english that are out right now for my love mix up and its pretty good! it _somewhat_ has that trope where there’s a group of friends who’s romantic feelings are intertwined (one of my favorite tropes ngl) but its a really cute shojo manga! the art is really good and so are the characters, but i am hoping the plot will pick up soon!

I would absolutely love to be surrounded by that large a selection of Manga at a bookstore, aha. I noticed you mention in one of the comments that you're interested in reading more BL? A series I would highly recommend is "Sankaku Mado no Sotogawa wa Yoru" / "The Night Beyond the Tricornered Window"! It's a Super Natural/Mystery/BL that's heavy on the plot. It's such an interesting series with great characters! Unfortunately it's only available digitally in English *fingers crossed it gets a print release in the near future, it truly deserves one! * There are 10 volumes total plus an Epilogue volume that hasn't be translated yet! Gege Akutami is also a big fan of Tricornered Window and actually used it as inspiration for Jujutsu Kaisen (specifically the way curses are viewed/handled)! Unfortunately I can't personally find the source for this (tons of his fans have said he talked about it during an interview for the fan book, though! ).

Loooove the manga shopping series! If you get the chance, you should definitely check out Sweat and Soap! Currently my fave manga, a little bit *spicy* in the first volume, but after that they get more wholesome and sweet! I honestly love how healthy the author portrays the relationship between the two main characters in the manga. Definitely worth a read! :)

in the U.S., I also go to half price books a lot! If you can also find a kinokuniya near you as well (usually in larger cities I believe), they sell a lot of Japanese and English manga!
