Transmutation is Rarest Type but all my Hope Togashi knows this died with the most-recent chapters. Guy literally declared it Abundant, while he declared Manipulation and Conjuration, which we see plentiful of, Rare. Only surpassed in Rarity by Specializatioon, which is so absurdly rare many call it now the Choosen-One-Type. You dont have to comment on this, i dont even know what oculd someone say to this... But i cant believee Transmutation is the Only Type never used together with its Neighbours. Oh, and 'Compound-Type Transmuter-Nen' was only shown ONCE in the Whole Show: The Legendary Bungee-Gum. I can a.s.s.u.m you cant combine two attributes directly opposed ot each other, like 'hot' and cold' so i cant make 'Cold Heat' but aside from this most-obvious Rule, we know 0 Rules

It's extremely weird to make the assumption that all writers are only good writers if they copy tropes from the genre and write the same way...? No, that's lazy and mediocre writing. Not for the people that created said tropes, but in modern day writing, simply following the status quo is a sign of a lack of effort or forethought. As a person who is actually a massive fan of murder mysteries, the best are those that stray from the norm and have a twist that is unexpected but still makes sense and was shown ahead of time in some way through subtle cues of some sort. That doesn't make them "bad authors".

Great work, informative and well thought out! Would love to see more long form deep dives, particularly of HxH. Question, and excuse me if this has been addressed already. What are your thoughts on the possibility that Ging is not Gon's father but rather brother or another family relationship that was entrusted by Gon's mother on behalf of Don. I have this thought because of HxH exploration of family dynamics and expectations along with contextualizing Ging's emotional distance and possible resentment of Gon. As well as for a meta level the act of filling a role that is put upon you that you do not align with as with Nen users attempting to use a category outside their alignment. It's possible that SM has to work on its own wiping the memory of it from its user as part of the price for such a strong ability. She said she wanted to do everything she can to survive so if that means setting a pseudo nen beast free to do that work without your having to be aware of it for protection, I think that's quite compelling.

An almost 50 minute video on Silent Majority! BOY WE ARE EATING GOOD TODAY! Loved the deduction skills. I was not at all expecting the Shumanu take, although I personally align more with Queen Oito being in cahoots with SM or being the SM user herself as that twist makes the most sense to me plot wise at the current moment, I see exactly where you are coming from and its in my top three SM theories (Behind Oito being the SM user and the SM user already being dead). Nobody really throws the take around that the Silent Majority user could already be dead. And I really love that idea, even if it wouldn't make that much sense compared to some other theories thrown around. To explain this a bit more, when Baragon died he may not have been killed by SM, instead his cause of death being Sakata shooting his gun, pointed out by Belarante, therefore rebounding the ability to the original user of SM. Meaning that Kurapika and Co. are on a wild goose chase after an already dead person.

I just remembered i once had a real great Idea for Manipu-Nen: Force-Activatoin, the Ability to 'cause a Misfiree'. Think about it: This is not the downtrotten Path of Brainwashing but pretty outside the Box and yet definetly-possible from what we know. Think about the Possibities of forcefully Acivating Abilities. It would be the Ultimate Hit or Miss, really. Misfires can cause or end Wars. At Worst you just draw Aggro onto you but at Best you could intercept someone who does what Gon did, meaning a timelimit Supercharge-Mod Suicide-Bomb. If a One-Minute Now-or-Never-Attack activates or is fired before it was meant to and before the Intended Target is even Near, this would make all go to waste

Great theory, love the suspects you point out and agree with your points, but I'd like to bring one point, what if the one we've heard the thoughts of, wasn't the user of spent majority, but of silent majority itself? A nen ability with a mind of it's own isn't completely new, we've just not seen one to this extent, and the ability posseses a person to then gain access to a new area. You've says how it would not be a good idea to have someone completely unrelated to the murders be the one responsible, and i agree, so i think it could be Shimano with an ability that once active, clears her of her memories of nen and stuff, maintaining the ability active until it's mission is finished. No one could suspect of a maid that doesn't even know she's the killer, almost like a typhoid Mary situation. I think it's a bit of a convoluted way out of passing the dousing chain test, but I wouldn't put it past Togashi to put a misdirect in a misdirect on top of making a nen ability extremely convoluted, and besides, i think the ability is of a conjurer and with conjuration allowing one to give such complex bindings and stuff, we could also use the personality test from Hisoka to try and figure out the killer. Sorry for the rambling but i really enjoyed the video!! Have a great holiday season and I cannot wait for more videos about HxH!

I haven't read the manga and I Don't know too much about each and every character, especially the guards, maids, and people outside the main focus, not counting the recent 10 chapters.So when i saw the video talking about a character I didn't know and it was 48 minutes I was skeptical, but 10 minutes in I was already invested and 30 minutes in I was starting to make my own deductions. All that to say it was a very good 48-minute video, and I loved every bit of the theories, and I am very invested in seeing who the assassin is.

I think the mechanism is that the user of Silent Majority gives up their nen while the technique is active, having their nen manifest around the possession target. A combination of conjuration and emission could accomplish this, with all of the life-or-death conditions allowing the otherwise extremely inefficient technique viable to do something.
