I stream everything to my TV so I thought I would upload this so I could watch it without fumbling around with a DVD. Hope you find it helpful.

This all looks lovely & doable, but it would help to have amounts on the ingredients being used, otherwise, how can we make anything. Thank you. Your recipes look so good!

why shopping blade for doing dough instead of the other one plastic as suggested by the manual or the Cuisinart staff?
@jlo100006 жыл бұрын
The only time holes are poked in pie dough is if the crust is cooked before adding the filling. In the video the chef added Apple pie filling to a raw crust with holes! The filling will leak out under the crust causing the pie to stick and burn in the pie pan. Other recipes and tips were helpful although I would not process ground meat into mush as a personal preference.

Just lightly dock the top layer of the dough to keep it from developing air bubbles; you don't need to jab the fork hard enough into the dough to pierce all the way through. (BTW, do you know who Hubert Keller is? Saying he doesn't know what he's doing is like correcting Jacques Pepin's omelette technique or saying Julia Child didn't know how to make bœuf bourguignon.)

How do you remove the large pusher assembly from feed tube??? Please help!
@seikibrian86416 жыл бұрын
It depends on which model and which year. On my 2016 Custom 14, I just lift straight up on the large pusher. On my older Custom 11, I had to slide the white locking lever to one side to unlock it. In one of my culinary classes we had one that had a clear tab molded into the back of the pusher, and you had to squeeze the bottom of the tab as you lifted. I think the squeeze-tab type is shown here.

Just bought mine... no dvd, no kneading blade, and the insert that told me to go to their site on how to use it was “no longer available.” When I went to their search bar it costs $7.95 for the how to video... wow...

I had the same issue, but I Googled " Cuisinart how to use videos" and they showed mostly everything; I'm still not sure what the difference between 2 of the cutting discs are. Maybe they should have had one of those stickers in the box "Inspected by no one" 🤣🤣🤣

@@chuckh22 One of the discs is for slicing and the other is for shredding. Enjoy the processor. It’s a great tool even though shame on them for not including the dough blade. The dough blade can be found on Amazon but I’d rather use my stand mixer
@dkingpin74 Жыл бұрын
@@AereForst agree. Stand mixer for bread and pizza dough. I do, however, prefer the food processor for pie crust.

No chili powder in the guacamole please! ruins the fresh taste...just onion, mashed avocado, tomato, lemon juice, salt-voila, perfect and fresh tasting! Why not drop the larger cut veggies like onions and tomatoes, etc right through the large feed tube when its stopped rather than taking off the entire top?
@jerrymead37266 жыл бұрын
Cole slaw? Where's the celery seed? Ya got have celery seed for flavor.. Oh my goodness...
@jerrymead37266 жыл бұрын
No-No-No.. The Salsa can't be any good. He forgot the GARLIC. And you for sure need a few Jalapeño seeds for heat. These French guys,, I'll tell ya.. LOL

Jerry Mead ewww I know! It looked gross too once presented. You forget the garlic, I’m out haha. Also, fresh salsa is good but if you want flavor, roast the veggies first! #noobs
