I was really glad that regular top coat didn't ruin the effect. But most people, especially new to nail art, don't know how to use it. And it's usually best with gel. There were no instructions either 🤷‍♀️

Your welcome, sometimes it's a little tricky because your nail polish needs to dry so the powder dosen't stick to the rest.

It's best to use 100% acetone and cotton. It doesn't leave any residue.

I don't want to skip, I give away anything that isn't my style, someone that loved these got them. I want to be surprised, but that's impossible now. They plaster it on the front of their web site. And all over ig🤷‍♀️

It's a matter of taste. I like the subtlety of the greenish yellow over the green powder. Do you have any tips on how to use the icecube stamper? I have a couple duel ended stampers that work great & a monocle stamper that works great. I have several ice cube stampers & unless it's black i can't get them to pick up the stamp.

A lot of people have issues with those. It's usually your pressure, or your so used to rolling a round one these are flatter so it's weird. Adjust your pressure. Start really light and gradually add pressure until you get used to that. Or try a light bop instead of rolling. I kinda liked the green looking stamp too. It's just i expect it to be the color it is in the bottle.

@@Guylene325 thanks for the tips. I've been experimenting with my stampers & i actually found out there are to that seem to work pretty well. I'll experiment some more with your tips to see if i can get the others to work as well. If not at least I have others 😊

I was not a fan of the bugs except for butterflies. I bought the box mainly for the powder and the polishes. Im disappointed in the lack of pigment though now that you've swatched them. Oh well, maybe the powder will be fun to play with . Thank you for your honesty.

It was pretty, but even using it this way it wasn't opaque. And it really disappeared after top coating.

Me showing up excited, years later, after realizing this plate has beetles. 😂 I bought this plate not long before they dropped the dragonfly/butterfly plate this year, I liked the newer plate better for butterfly purposes so I forgot this one. Today I realized the top row has beetles--yay!

I have not only one but TWO friends covered in bug tattoos. Some realistic, some cutesy, some from paintings/drawings. I could see how the big beetles etc from the other plate would work over the green chrome. As far as powders go...I can't have any fans etc going when I use them cuz the particles go airborne. I say be totally honest with reviews. Like you said... you're not saying all their stuff is bad.

The "roach" is a beetle -_- Complains about knowing what's in the box, still accepts a box of items she knows she wouldn't like. I personally love that Maniology tells us what's in the boxes each month because if it's something I don't like, I simply skip it... 🤷‍♀️

I have no opinion on the plates, but, if I’m not mistaken Manology use to be bundle monster. I had three sets of bundle monster stamping polish and it is no good as a stamping polish. For four years i hav tried to get them to work. The only times i had any success whatsoever was when i also sed a BM plate and/or BM stamper. When i first saw the new brand, Manology, i was excited to try it. When i discovered it was formerly known as Bundle Monster i put my plastic away. After watching this video it was the wise thing to do because it seems like the products are still junk and a big waste of money. Thank you Guylene for your honest review.

Yes, they rebranded. They absolutely need to step up their game on opacity for about 50% of their polish. I'm hoping they get the hint. 🤷‍♀️ Did you get the Grimm set? That set made me mad! The review I watched was a total lie. I can't even remember who it was but they somehow got them to perform. They looked amazing as just polish. But as stamping they were crap. I always tell it like it is. 😘 thanks got watching.

The plates are ok but I was super disappointed with the polishes. The pink one’s not bad but the yellow is streaky as a polish and horrible as a stamping polish. I didn’t try to stamp with the pink yet.

I just started buying maniology products, and I was like ehh, I lovee moyou polishes, I just dont like that most are individual and the shipping from London $$ sucks. But they are pigmented 💕💕💕 I got some clear jelly stamper polishes I havent tried, hope those are good.

It's weird, they are usually pretty good. My favorites are Hit The Bottle. The dark colors, and chromes from maniology stamp great. It's their pinks, and yellow!

Same! Too many sneaky peeks! Also same for the plates/polishes - I liked the butterflies but not the other bugs, some of them freak me out! Would have liked more dragonflies and some bees, ladybugs! The stamping of the polishes was pretty disappointing for the light yellow, but the pink was ok and pretty. will be interesting to try the powder.

I'd be grumpy too, if I got those plates lmao - that green looks like pea soup mom used to make when I was a kid a hundred years ago lol Also it drives me nuts that plate makers can't make the darn images tall enough for long nails. I hate having to double stamp a nail, trying to get it lined up perfectly.

I like the butterflies but that's about it. My daughter is trying to run off the with pink polish. She saw that package labeled from Hawaii and KNEW what it was. Those pineapples were GONE. I'm dealing with male cats in my yard UGH trying to get into my house to my cat.

I dig the bugs, but Im as annoyed as heck with all those bugs that they didnt include some bees and crowns... that would have elevated the plates imo. Love the colors, but EPIC dissapointment thay the 3 products they included dont really work well together. Seems like that eould be one of the primary aims of the products they oackage in the kit. Bummer!

I LOVE their plates, but they have rebranded, put all that money into their new look, and products, so why not get in the game all the way and make some stamping polishes that can at least STAMP! 😂 yes! About half I've got don't stamp great, don't say it's stamping polish if it doesn't stamp on any color. 99% of Hit The Bottle stamp perfect. I only have one out of like 25 that didn't stamp but it's super opaque!

I was not so thrilled with bugs and the plates and the polishes either. I tried to stay positive in my unboxing but my saltiness came through. That is a neat trick to stamp with the powder. I will dick it up though LOL Yeah, the polishes and the powder is not a good match. This month is a flop and I am glad it is just not me that was disappointed. Plus I hate white polish as a backdrop. I like honest reviewers, not someone that will blow smoke up my ass. I think the green finger is the best out of all of them. It was a lot of work for one finger though.

Had the same problem with the one I bought, waited 3 weeks for it to get to the UK. So disappointed. Sent me browns & greens stamping polish, I’m a pink kinda girl. Lots of stencil stickers for Xmas which I won’t use. Think it’s they’re way of getn rid of unwanted stock. 😢
