@krzysztofmilewski47427 жыл бұрын
It is. I never saw it mentioned in any "great riffs" lists, but you are right, it's fantastic. JDB is an underrated singer too.

Exactly. He's a fantastic singer. Especially on TIMTTMY album.

@@krzysztofmilewski4742 Agree. But if the riff would get more attention, people would have to cope with the lyrics, the Manics and their sujet
@Chewy75754 жыл бұрын
It absolutely is. It's what makes this my favourite Manics song. JDB should be considered one of the great guitar players. I love his voice too and could listen to him sing and play an acoustic all day long.

i can't stop but thinking of the audience of this concert.these guys are in their early 20s back then and now they are in their early 40s.oh my gosh.this is the reality of the life that matters.time passes and it does not stop whatsoever. we need to live everyday as if it is the last.

To be fair, my little brother was there at 15 - had to sneak booze in, or the bars were relaxed about ages - he's still 6 years younger than me - but still only 36 - the little shit. x

I’m one of them, was 22 then, turned 44 two days back, one of the best (sober) nights ever / bars were so busy the missus & I just though Fhk it, drink when we get home later! Immense gig.

Too true, I'm 51 now. Went to my first of many Glastonbury Festivals in 1992, seen many great bands, Queen, Rolling Stones, AC/DC (in quite a few countries), Lots of Punk gigs in Germany. I prefer how things were, people just getting off on the music and no mobile phone filming. Still life in the old dog yet but struggle finding any bands I actually want to see these days.
