Thank you for going above and beyond the current standard of games today. I think everything here agrees that this game shows how polished a game can be and how much a developer can push the limits of reality in 3D platforms. Honestly, a loss of words every time you push an update. Thank you for making this game....

Really glad to hear that. Can't wait to get it out and for you to experience it.

It's interesting going back and watching these videos, _after_ finishing the game. One thing that came to mind during and after playing the game was this: the level design just flows really well, but not in a way that makes it too easy, but in a way you look back and it makes complete sense.

I'm doing the exact same thing! Just finished the game! ^0^

God, this game is honestly turning out to be superb, I’m actually so hyped for the full release. I think my favourite thing about the game so far is the way you’ve implemented non-euclidean geometry. Watching these update videos and seeing you transition flawlessly between two rooms occupying similar space feels soo natural.

Seems like the polishing with music and sounds are really bringing the game to another level

That stinger moment is so epic. Reminded me of Bladerunner.

I'm pretty sure they've messed around with it before, but the gravity change is a problem, as that can be very disorienting.
@erikluo5 жыл бұрын
@@thecodingfoundation Yeah, it can be. I think it is solvable tho. Teleporting whenever you change gravity could work. You can move with the gamepad after.
@thecodingfoundation5 жыл бұрын
@@erikluo teleporting instead of seamlessly changing gravity field would take away some of the experience though D:

Tearzz yeah, but I really want to see all the structures in vr, would be so cool.

The problem you have with the outline of the ps4 version happens in a lot of games when viewing things from far away. For example, in Minecraft, making a floor of bricks (a very noisy texture) and flying high up does the same effect.
@SoulReflexions5 жыл бұрын
I was afraid that you might cut some content because you also said you wanted to change the formula of big open world then linear passage then big open world to not overwhelm the player. So I guess you managed to fit those big open world puzzles into linear rooms that are more accessible? Btw, the colors are coming together really nicely!
@WilliamChyr5 жыл бұрын
Sort of. The problem with the previous version was that the large open worlds were just too frequent. In the new version, it's not so much that we've fit those spaces into linear rooms, but we've redesigned the overall pacing so that there are more mid-sized indoor areas that allow players to progress at a faster rate, in order to balance out the slower exploration of the larger spaces.

This totally looks like a playable level of "SketchUp" (which obviously doesn't have playable levels, since it's a modeler.)

For sure. Makes sense as both are inspired by architectural drawings.

Was there already the idea that you've can jump in the game and change the gravity based on the direction you're heading?
@WilliamChyr5 жыл бұрын
Not sure what you mean here. Jump and change gravity based on direction you're heading? Like in mid-air?
@keyp20015 жыл бұрын
Yeah in mid-air for instance, (technically if you're on the floor you would slide to the wall in front of you, in a room i guess) Would be really cool i thought, i mean you wouldnt have to find an edge anymore if you'd found a spot you want to go.
