Manly P. Hall: Atlantis and the Gods of Antiquity

"Atlantis and the Gods of Antiquity" was recorded by Manly P. Hall on December 6th, 1981. In this lecture, the myth and possible location of the Atlantis mystery is explored, in a new way: seeing Atlantis as part of a larger empire instead of a single island. Hall suggests that before its final destruction, groups of Atlanteans were distributed around the world, and may be part of the story behind the Egyptian and other civilizations.
Most interesting is the psychological aspect - that Atlantis is a metaphor for our submerged personalty, and, that the myth serves as a warning in that if our gifts, powers, talents and technologies in selfish or destructive ways - we too will ultimately be destroyed.

His speeches/lectures are just incredible. More people should know about this man. With all the garbage on KZbin, I'm thankful for channels such as this. The knowledge that Manly P Hall possessed was just astounding. Listening to him is an experience, not just intellectual conversation. I'm glad to have discovered him and his works. This world could use more people like Hall. I enjoy listening to his lectures very much. The older recordings such as this have a sort of elegance to them that you don't get with more modern recordings. The fact that you can actually HEAR the age of this makes it even better to me.

I,myself, have just recently found these lectures and audio books of Mr Hall's on KZbin. I have always had a great interest in our history and have been searching since my teenage years for knowledge beyond what is abundantly available mainstream. Mainly searching for the meaning of life and trying to figure out what our purpose is in this life. Manly P. Hall is helping me fulfill that ambition.

I came to believe that Atlan was an ancient name for the elevated Master we now know as The Lord Babaji , and that later in Greece he was known as Atlas. This Master is still on Earth now. In Yogananda's book 'Autobiography of a yogi' Yogananda describes his meeting with Babaji.

"Atlantis" means "All Land Ice". It was a vast empire that was centered in the Ring Lands This is pre Earth tilt. The sun (Odin) never set on the ring land. The oldest symbol from this era is the solar wheel or Swastika. When one stands at the center of the Ring Land and looks up at dusk one sees the Big Dipper rotating around Polaris thus forming the Swastika.

Plenty of scientific evidence if you do some digging. Figure that the sea levels were 400-500 feet lower at that time than today (Black Sea salinity levels prove this). Also, portions of the Mid-Atlantic ridge were above water. Other circumstantial evidence like cultural connections between the Canary Islands, Basque, Aztecs, Egypt and North African Caucasian Berbers. Loads of evidence, just do some digging.
