Good point Marie, I like these tricky subjects. I had my fair chare of this situation years back. A friend broke something in my house & when I reminded her about it she was belittling me "oh that stupid thing" she never paid for it & this sum up her way of being - not caring at all. Do I have to say we are no longer friends? Not because of that but a disrespectful friend is nothing I wanna keep. I actually broke something in another friends house years back but gave her money the day after and apologized, so mistakes can happen to all but how we handle it is important.

How about when you lend something to a friend and it is never given back to you? Or he/she actually lost the item?
