just getting out the side is a total win for me . Not falling out the front and hurting myself alone is worth it . also if you got something in front of you like an auger or forks you can still get out . With that boom extending just makes it amazing . its on my top of the list machines to buy .

Once you operate one of these you’ll never go back to any other skid brand. Side door alone is worth it! The tele boom is an added bonus!

I just bought a JCB 250T which is basically the same machine without the telescoping feature. Aside from all the obvious advantages, it has a great engine. JCB's own engine. It's big and torquey, will work at lower rpm, 4.4 liter, 5 1/4" stroke. NO DEF, NO DPF, NO REGEN.

How would the telescoping boom do with a hydraulic attachment? Is there a way to make that work other than having 5 feet of extra hose dangling
@mannfamilyfarms3813 жыл бұрын
The couplers you would hook onto are built Into the boom and telescope out with it. So there no extra hoses dangling, it’s just like any other skid loader
@tomburton10372 жыл бұрын
Hi Mark, I've had my 3TS8T for about 18 months. I've had Deere and Gehl in the past but I like the JCB better. I have a Quick Attach 8' power rake and it handles it well. You do not extend the boom because you're hooked to the high flow and electrical on the machine. I have a grapple that I hook on the auxiliary on the extended boom. I really like how I can reach out and use the grapple while keeping logs and limbs further away. There are no hoses dangling. One set of hydraulic connections is on the extendable boom and the other is stationary on the boom that doesn't extend.

Has the tele skid now made the traditional skid steer obsolete? Is the telescopic boom now going to be the norm going forward
@mannfamilyfarms3812 жыл бұрын
All I can say is I don’t think I would want anything other than the telescoping boom now (JCB). That extra 3-4 ft is huge and you don’t realize it till you don’t have it. As far as the machine itself goes, I really like the JCB, there are just a few little things that need improvement!

That right side view would be easily fixed with a roof mounted camera, if you really need to see all around. Like, if you were moving inside a barn for cleaning out manure, you could put a camera on, and position it so that you can see the right track. 😊

I run a cattle operation in Canada A skid steer would be so handy from grubbing trees on the field edges to feeding to snowplowing to fencing....., those are just things I can think of before I had my first cup of coffee. But I had a stroke when I was 15.., it paralyzed my left side motor function. I got the big muscles (leg biceps and such.) but my left hand never got back to well......., ever time I see a skid steer I look to see how driving that thing with one hand would be. that left stick would be the drive correct? is it real touchy? If I could ever find one that had the drive control on pedals or on the right side with loader control on the pedals Id be hard pressed no to buy one LOL
@mannfamilyfarms3813 жыл бұрын
Man sorry to hear that. But pulling trees and snow plowing are actually the biggest things we want a skid loader for! Yeah would be interesting to see if there was a company that made one that could be run like that
@valleyviewacres91203 жыл бұрын
@@mannfamilyfarms381 you would think there's got to be a way to fit even a mount on that handle that could transfer pressure from your good hand. I guess it would need to keep the buttons open. What are those switches on the left stick controlling?

I bought a JCB 2T . DO NOT BUY ONE!!! I love the cab, I love the tele boom arm. But as a dirt working machine, buy a shovel and a rake. The loader doesn't have the hydraulics to lift and curl at the same time. When lifting a load the arm drops 3 to 6 inches as you stop it. The travel modes on the control are super super super jumpy, you are going to be running into stuff. I am totally not happy with this machine. The salesman and mechanics have been here several times trying to make corrections and change percentages on controls, they hauled it back to their shop and call JCB, they hauled it back and said, "sorry that just how it is". They said they're going to let me try another machine ( the 3T ) and see if I like it better.
