Both in their prime. Duran was a 1-2 combos with flat footed easily get hit by a counter puncher. Pacquiao on the other hand comes in with 7-8 flurries of punches. Then move to left or right. Duran was one punch power but will lose to speed like Sugar Ray Leonard. Same results against Pacquiao.

Duran did beat Leonard in that first fight and I can see Pacquiao fighting Duran in that type of fight as well. Especially prime Pac

@@litothecasual: it’s all about adjustment. Leonard made Duran “no mas“ in the 2nd fight. Same scenario on Pac against Eric Morales, Pac beat him in 2nd fight then surrendered his @$$ on the canvas.

@@thegodfather7927 while I agree that adjustments are key, the fights you referred are rematches. This scenario is a one fight deal. I have seen Pac’s ability to adjust mid-fight tho but I question if he’d want to stray away from a fire-fight with Duran. Pac strikes me as an ultimate competitor who feared noone and had supreme confidence in his ability to withstand power blows and deliver the knockout punch. I think they fight ferociously until someone can no longer fight and i just dont know if Pac can outlast Duran. No hate either, Pac is my all time favourite boxer

@@litothecasual: This is my own analysis only. Both tested with good chin and power and stamina can go 15 rounds. Eventually because Pac releases volume of punches. Duran will say “no mas” We’ve seen in Duran-Leonard 2.

Pacquiao's kryptonite are counter-punchers and never the aggressive type like Duran.

He did do very well against aggressive come-forward fighters but Duran is very technically sound and defensively responsible as well. Has hammers for fists too. Itll be a tough fight for Pac but I won’t say it’s impossible

Pacquiao with his incredible footwork, punches in bunches, inherent toughness . Pacquiao transformed his style from fearless brawler to methodical boxer-puncher wins by KO or an easy points decision or worse Duran will say NO MAS.
