The reason your soldiers have less energy than a Canadian team in the Stanley Cup Final is because you are making them run everywhere. If you toggle off running (the running man icon), they will walk and not lose energy. Also, some workshop uses, like the orchard, need larger workshop plots, for future proofing reference.

@@SolidContent in one of your menues where you selected an upgrade to the trading group section , there is yet another level up where the imports are dramatically cheaper and your exports bring in more.. You're actually pretty close to selecting the option..
