I grew up there. Hewlett harbor is in the 5 towns. Mr. D’bernardo was murdered by Sammy gravano in 1979. The serpico’s lived there also along with many many more “famous people “. Yes we all went to Hewlett HS together. About 90% of these homes I’ve known or been to in my younger years. A lot has changed since the 70’s. Good video, thanks for the childhood memories.

11:42 on the left - that home is priced at $30MM. The builder tore two homes down and then built that 11,000 sqf. Mansion. Water in the back and no home ever in front (due to the golf course). Nicest home in the area.

What's the address? Gotta check it out. Sounds nice but not as good as the 26 Pond Rd mansion in Great Neck!

Hey Mooney, that was one of my favorite videos! I like the mansion tours. I've never driven through there, but I see it's just a little NW of Jones Beach where I spent my summers growing up. And, it kinda reminds me of a cross between the North Shore and Great Neck Estates. Between these 3 areas, not sure which one is more elite/expensive. My sister's house is currently for sale in Cold Sprint Harbor, which is another great place along with Huntington. Thanks man, have a good evening!

My sister has lived in Hewlett Harbor for about 20 years now. She’s on her second house there. It’s a beautiful very wealthy neighborhood. Of course her backyard is on the water so during Sandy she obviously had to evacuate upon her arrival she found her boat by her pool along with another random boat. She was flooded but not bad at all. Don’t worry about the vehicle sounds everyone in this neighborhood is beyond nice. Best part about visiting her is taking her jet ski’s out in the summer.

People often connect the south shore with areas north of Montauk Highway, but south of it, all the way east, has very nice areas. I once heard that Hewlett Harbor was the richest town in America. Not sure if that still holds, but it has to be close! Like with towns all the way up in nooks of the north shore, getting to the main arteries is a long annoying ride. All said and done, I like a regular neighborhood with regular people. These places just smell of snootiness.
