What a great talk 🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌 Thank you Manthan for bringing this talk! Demobilisation, bringing war veterans as pointed out, has risks of converting into Militias and Organized Violence risks very well pointed out! Frankly as pointed out that making average age less as flawed reasoning! The real reason why BJP wants this kind of scheme is they want a cheap security force to help them overthrow democracy of our nation! It's very plausible risk, that BJP & Modi wants to convert this nation into Sanatan Theocracy! To bring down liberal system and establish illiberal rule such young force would be needed! Mr. Modi is biggest threat to Indian Democracy

India has a pretty large armed force and the future wars require less personel because use of technology. It is for this reason that India needs to keep a lean and mean defence force. Also the pension of a big armed force has a significant hit on the budget of the armed force especially with greater life expectancy. So this is a step in the right direction. In fact govt and state govt should also follow a similar thing in there civil services and should not have such a large man power who eats the govt budget in pension also.
