Mantis X2 - training tool for noobs? Ep1

Having just purchased the Mantis X2 from mantisx.com, i try to discover if this dry firing tool can really help a new shooter, or does it train more bad habits in than it trains out.

What are you loading into the magazine?

They are snap caps. They have a rubber cab where the firing pin would hit to help prevent potential damage from dry firing. Not required, i just feel better using them and it's another way of making sure there are no live rounds.

Just a standard figure 11 target. Using the head markings because of how absurdly close to the target I was standing.
