If you are thrown and land on your side, just rolling over on your back, it is NOT supposed to be an Ippon. Only if you land straight on your back. These referees are destroying the sport. I know that there are no Yokos and Kokas any more, but don't give an Ippon when it should be a Waza-Ari. If you fail that perfect throw, continue the attack on the ground and finish the fight with a pin or submission. Or get back up if you think you can do it a second time. Judo is a martial art, and no friggin' ballet dancing.

Some of the throws judokas pull off in touraments show an utter disreard for thier opponents health, just for the sake of winning some stupid tournament

How so? The way I see it, they are often given a too easy victory. In what way is this worse than a wrestling suplex or BJJ leg locks twisting the knee joint? I don't understand what you're talking about.
