If I could buy one it would be a Deer Valley Home. I would want to leave the built in microwave out and just put a nice venthood in. As a senior, I don't know that I might need a wheelchair sometime in the future and the micro over the stove would be out of the question. The same can be said for the nice garden tub in the master bath, I couldn't get out of it now without a terrible struggle. I would want to go with a walk in tub. And the nice shower would have to have a low curb so that I could step over it. I'd do away with the glass doors too, I'm afraid of falling through them.. And finally, I do not like the closets opening into the bathroom. Mold and Mildew is my concern with that. I know that may sound like a lot, but if I was paying north of $250k for a modular home on property I've already bought, cleared and sub graded for the foundation, I would want it to serve me well for the rest of my days. That's why I would choose the Deer valley Brand. I like quality and I believe they deliver just that.

@Boyce Brown I have cracks in both halves of the home that they tried to fix, and they cracked again. They tried to repair the loose floor decking in the master bedroom by using a trim gun and nailing through the carpet. I have discovered loose floor decking in nearly every room in the house. My fireplace flue pipe is installed 2 inches out of level. The first contractor they sent to trim the house out left the ac running while sanding the sheetrock and filled the ac cabinet with sheetrock dust. The grout won't stay in the master bathroom shower, and the tile is so uneven that some of the tiles are about 1/8 inch in front t of the tile beside it. I have had attic insulation coming out of the ac vents from day one and still do now. The paint has runs everywhere, and Deer Valley Homes claimed that because I was trying to caulk the trim on the doors and windows and reflect thr sheetrock to fix their poor floating abilities, that they would not be able to come and repair the structural items that I requested for them to fix. Everything they did repair was done half-hearted. You see I been a contractor for 40 plus years, and I informed everyone that I talked to during the purchase and work on the home of that. Then I read through the HUD rules and I can show you so many violations to them in this home, and it would make you not want to buy any mobil home.I can show you violations by the 2 state inspectors and the installer, retailer, and manufacturer. My house is located in Texas, so I can't speak to the quality of inspection you might get where you live. I haven't even told you about the violations on the outside of the home.

@Boyce Brown probably so, but the reality of it is that pretty much all of the manufacturers are the same way. My neighbor across the street bought a Clayton home and had problems that shouldn't exist, but do and she had a hard time getting them to come repair her house. They fixed a hump in her kitchen floor and it started making a grinding sound like they just loosened up the lag bolts holding the floor to the frame. She also had leaks in both of her bathrooms around the exhaust fans. They took forever to come and address that, how about that water coming out of your electric exhaust fan and they didn't get in a hurry to fix it.

What is the largest Modular Home Deer Valet builds please ? I need a home that has a dining room that will accommodate my dining room suite that seats 12 people with a matching China cabinet & buffet AND ALSO my kitchen table that seats 10 with matching China Cabinet. I would like a Large spacious Master bedroom with a really LARGE Walk in Closet with NO wire racks and an Island in the middle with drawers & a place to sit with a mirror to get dressed with each day. Shelves for shoes would be nice as well. I appreciate 9 ft ceilings as well as a nice open concept. I’d like a deep front porch & a deep back porch with an out door wood burning fireplace. Do y’all manufacture anything along these lines at Deer Valley ? I Love & appreciate your Quality ❤😊
