I have a titanium aerospace bracket, I need to do physical prototype for marketing purposes, and functional prototype, and to manufacture it at the end. What kind of manufacturing processes is applicable? Taking into consideration that the first prototype could be done with any material.

If you are not ready to request a prototype from a factory, what kind of methods and materials should you be looking into when dealing with "large format" initial prototypes such as furniture, outdoors equipment etc?
@ProductInnovationAcademy Жыл бұрын
Always best to get a professional designer involved with experience of the manufacturing methods, processes, costs and materials that will be needed for your product. They can also advice on design for ergonomics, styling, touch points etc. To get the best out of a designer prepare your project brief with as much detail as possible and maybe build a proof of concept prototype out of cheap readily available materials to test core functionality, size etc.

Great if you don't have a competitor for your product. Hard to gauge the pricing though.

Wow big questions! Check out this video on validating ideas that might help: kzbin.info/www/bejne/on2vkoWheZiIbpo Design of a product makes people stop and consider it. But then pricing kicks in and unless at a desirable and affordable price, your sales are likely to be low. Validating ideas is not easy and lots of people will get this wrong I'm afraid. Definitely read as much as you can on this before getting started. We do offer some paid services around this: www.design2market.co.uk/services/product-viability/
