Dr. Peter Rogers shares insights on how the standard American diet contributes to various "Western abdomen diseases," such as fatty liver, diverticulitis, and hiatal hernias. Drawing from his background in radiology and decades of medical practice, Dr. Rogers breaks down complex concepts into easy-to-understand language, making this video accessible to all viewers.
Throughout the discussion, Dr. Rogers highlights the importance of a whole-food, plant-based diet in preventing and reversing many chronic conditions. He also touches on the shortcomings of conventional medical approaches and the potential risks of medical screening tests. Whether you're dealing with a specific health issue or looking to optimize your well-being, this interview offers a fresh perspective on the power of nutrition and lifestyle changes in transforming your health.

In my opinion everyone should be eating a whole food plant based diet. Imagine how much difference it would make to people’s health. I have friends and family who suffer with diabetes, kidney stones, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, etc. I don’t preach this way of eating but I hope they see how I live and are inspired to try. I’m 59 years old and don’t take any medication. My doctor tells me that I am as healthy as a horse.

Great talk. So much valuable information! Thank you so much! I was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer from nowhere and left 6 months to live. I am 58 being super healthy, regular exerciser, never smoke and never drink. Very strange. Now I went through two weeks radiotherapy and waiting for my 3rd immunotherapy and chemo treatment I get every 3 weeks for 4 times total. Interesting you mentioned you take B12 supplements. My B12 is super high always over 2000 for years even before I was diagnosed with cancer recently. I went to check but the doctor said nothing wrong. Do you know anything about it? Also I want to stop chemo treatment and go for alternative ways including changing diet. Again thank you for your wonderful talk!

Would someone care to explain ??

Peter Rogers thinks eating organic rice is healthier than non organic grown. If its grown in soil containing arsenic, then it has jad it the same. The majority of US grown rice has arsenic in it. the part that included 148.6% The FDA's analysis estimated that if average rice consumption in the U.S. increased from less than one serving per day to exactly one serving per day, cancer cases would increase by 148.6%. This statistic comes from the FDA's risk assessment on arsenic in rice. It's based on modeling the lifetime risk of lung and bladder cancers from long-term exposure to inorganic arsenic in rice. The estimate suggests a significant potential increase in cancer risk associated with increased rice consumption, particularly rice with higher levels of inorganic arsenic.

Yes Dr. Roger! I also believe all cancer patients should limit any contributors to clotting formation- since many people with cancer die from heart attacks or can get strokes due to paraneoplastic syndrome aka hyper coagulation, cachexia, hypercalcimia, etc… Makes sense to keep the diet as plant based, high fiber, low fat foods as possible. Though cachexia can be Super challenging with so much conflict of opinion about how much Protein to consume. 🤷‍♀️
