So would you be competing with other vampire coast factions for coves, and would you be able to get rid of it if a faction put a cove on one of your settlements? I'm also curious as to _how_ you would get rid of it.

Warhammer II is so busy and visually interesting it's really fun to watch even for someone who has never played it. Curse of the Vampire Coast campaign would be a nice series. Also, please do a double speed, no pause challenge run of any Total War game...It would be very tense and filled with cursing but I think it would be immensely entertaining.

This game would be epic if they actually managed to do naval battles properly... I would even be glad to simply see like a couple of preset ships side by side and the actual shipcrew boarding each ship, or something of sorts.. Still, it's better this way that what it has been thus far, and the game seems very interesting.. Love the concept of the flagship city :D

8:57 Apparently the vampire coast zombies aren't all that weak. Their stats are somewhere between vampire counts skeleton warriors and empire state troops. So they can hold their own against most low-tier infantry and probably even win against something like skaven slaves but maybe not clan rats.

So they can win against skavenslaves? skavenslaves have an upkeep of 16, vampire coast zombies have an upkeep of 60, so you could have 3 lots of skavenslaves with change left over for only one unit of zombies? Skeleton warriors, everyone rushes the tech to make their upkeep free and even before that they barely cost anything, so the units their stats are closest too are both so much cheaper than the zombies. I mean, they're fine as expendable troops but they really are weak, which is why you have to focus on ranged because the melee choices early are pretty bad. I mean, compare them quickly to high elves, lizardmen, dwarves, orcs, empire, norsca etc. they're just worse.

Vampire coast is already in my top 2 fave factions. If you like Gunpowder, these are your guys...... If you like cannon fodder armies that are easy to raise to help your main army..... If you like horde armies..... If you like settlement factions..... If you like raising the dead..... If you like global recruitment..... THESE ARE YOUR GUYS....... These factions are awesome.....they definitely have weaknesses, but they have a lot of versatility.
