Campaign goal: play tall in Skavenblight, and get the under-empire under every city on the map. Then, build the doomsphere under every city, all at once, so that one turn everything is fine, and the next, the whole world goes BOOM!

Skavenblight in the lore is the actual capital of the entire skaven race. Where the clan lords reunite and scheme.

On top of that, it’s theorized that it’s where the very first Skaven were born/created. Sort of the birthplace of Skaven, and in many ways it’s as significant as Ulthuan is for the HE.

The dwarves and men laboured for generations to build this tower of titanic proportions but their ambitions outstripped their ability and so the monument laid by their forefathers lay unfinished.part1 hope you enjoyed part 2 tomorrow.

Lore wise Skaven tech is known to regularly explode. Skavenblight was basically nuked once by the Skaven themselves and nearly drove them extinct.

They need more under city style mechanics really, because yeah spying and the like is super cool, and that bomb is amazing. But the Vampire Coast being able to not just build Coves but also build armies outside their own territory I think gives them enough benefits to make up for it.

When you're not expanding the Under Empire with the Warlock Engineer, you may as well use the Steal Technology operation. You get a warp fuel for a success and -20% off your research, which stacks with Ikit's bonus +20% to research. It gets a bit out of hand between 3 turn top end research, Under Empires, and the Forbidden Workshop...

Well.... It's important to note that this is the single player campaign. No matter who exactly you play you will eventually be able to put something together that's just stupidly broken. If you play someone else the Skaven AI won't be quite as ridiculous and you can always improve your chances of discovering those under-cities with heros and buildings.

I still find it hilarious though (I don't play the game tho, so I'm not aware of the mechanics for factions and what not.)

@@zuriel6612 First of all, the vast majority of multipayer comes down to custom battles, meaning both players have a limited amount of ressources and use them to put together an army to hopefully defeat what the other player has brought. There are also vs campaigns and for those I'd like to point out that the Doom Sphere has a very high discoverability meaning that all you need is a certain building and a hero or two and it's almost impossible for the skaven player to get away with building the bomb.

When you decided to reattack Tobaro while you were still under peace treaty you basically anger every Lord in the game and if you were already losing reputation with someone then that Lord will almost always declare war.

Nice to see the patch on the vampire coast has stopped them from stomping on the southlands. I've never played a ME campaign where dreadfleet didn't take Estalia and Skavenblight while Sartosa took Tilea within the first 10-15 turns.

Those fights were close victories as your army was running low on ammunition and the game factors that in for the power of your army. Its sad to see that Jon has basically not touched total war warhammer for several months. The mentioned artillery dodge has not a thing anymore for more than 9 months unless you focus fire with more than 3 pieces on one unit.
