This game is brilliant! The lads have done it again. I could never get into FTL because it's tactics just never felt intuitive or made sense to me. But Into the Breach communicates really well and when I mess up it feels like it's my fault.

9.44 you could have used the prime to punch the scarab then the 3 move of the hook tank would have been enough to move to where the scarab had been and pulled the firefly into the water, leaving rock launcher free to squash the psion

18.42: I would have used the prime to punch the firefly into the scarab, firefly would have died 2+1 dmg then used the rock launcher on the hornet.

19.50: any reason you didn't move the hook mech between the firefly and your prime? The hook mech is armoured so would not take any damage.

1.48.02 "nothing's lined up right now" what about the blobber and the blob?! And after that, the rock launcher can go East And south to a blue teleport pad, then throw a rock and push a scarab into the red teleport pad

2:31:23 i used that with the rusting hulk groups and destroyed every bug because all bugs took one damage when it the smoke (due to my passive ability) and it did two damage on hit and stopped their attack. never had any trouble

I think FTL is waay more random than Into the breach. FTL has a random map. Random events with random outcomes. And random ship battles. I mean you can meet auto scouts without shields in sector three. in this game they move ( sometimes a bit stupid) not sure what the pattern is. When enemies spawn there can only be one of 5. The grid resistance chance is a pure diceroll so the mist random. But FTL has evade too which is the same thing.

The islands scale with how many you've beaten in that reality so the first you pick is easiest not the original 'first' green Island

Coulda just hooked the wasp so it gets hit by the other bug around 47:50 since wasps only attack one square ahead of them, and you coulda saved those two buildings

I disagree with Jon on this. I massively prefer this to FTL. Just hits that sweet spot for me; not least to do with the Zenith Guard having a bloody Metal Gear Rex

Arrrrrrgh, was just about to sit down to some Diablo, grrrrr John, hi Clair, your awesome mate! Can’t play Breach until console/mobile release :’-( Also I’m concerned for the devs. They are brilliant, however FTL was firstly so easy to get into, and second the name was genius. FTL, it just sticks, you think of it when your not thinking about it. Simple. I’m always forgetting their new games name, and I’m gonna just say it, I recon it won’t do a well in part due to it’s name. If it was more FTL esk, it would more easily associate with that rockstar of a game, and work it’s memory magic. Oh and John, your awesome too mate ;-p
