Greetings from Iowa, do you live out there? I am going to visit Manzanillo in a couple of weeks and would love to get some pointers on spots to hit up if the weather permits.

Hello Iowa! I live in California but we love Manzanillo. Salahua is where the locals go, and they go there for a reason. It's the best spot in town. I've done very well there and I've seen the locals getting fish. It faces south so if there's any swell, the waves pound the beach, but you can still catch fish. Playa del Oro is another beautiful spot, but you need 4X4 to get there. I also know a nice boat from La Boquita if you're interested. Buena Suerte!
