Honestly this is probably the best sounding fa20 exhaust setup I’ve heard. It’s not overly loud and annoying like others. It even has a bit of a rumble unlike others.

@@therunningman8692 Well he and many others seems to be put off by how “loud” it is. It’s noticeable but doesn’t dominate the driving experience. It’s perfect to me

@@therunningman8692 a little custom heat management and the Cobb Big Sf intake Temps are much better than the stock intake... I'm old school, I prefer the sound of a turbo over the sound of a loud exhaust with pops.

Running MAPerformance Stage 2 e30 tune with their Intake, J-pipe and an Invidia R400. It's been solid and feels absolutely amazing after 8k miles. I'll be holding off on performance mods for a while, but CP And TMIC from MAP are next up next for sure. Love the wheels btw!

Love it man! Have you considered upgrading your clutch? I just ordered the same set up a few days before watching this video except I got the invidia R400 cat back and an ACT HD clutch kit. I did not know about needing the Perrin sump restrictor thing so thanks for that. Best of luck on your future builds!

great review bro I love my 2019 stage 2 plus mines cobb ots tune I don't have any issues either but the smell you were getting was the new exhaust system that (smell anyway) mine went away in about a week but the restrictor is good to do I've heard I dont have it done yet .. the exhaust shop that did my setup warned me of the smell and it would go away I was told, if you go catless is when you need the sump restrictor but it's a good support either way its cheap part and easy install especially for the setup.

my set up is MAperformance catless downpipe STI resonated midpipe Muffler deletes MAperformance Intake Boomba Bypass valve Maperformance stage 2 OTS tune Soon to install Maperformance intercooler & charge pipe The boomba helps hold boost inbetween shifting gears and is crucial for the upgraded intercooler! it also sounds really cool, but i 100% noticed the difference once installing it because you DONT LOSE POWER, has for sure won me some races with no dip inbetween shifts. great vid!

@@Squadrafoglio Any tips on selling with mods? Thinking about selling mine since it's such a sellers market right now. I have a 2018 with 9k miles, just have Cobb OTS stage 1, swift springs, invidia R400, bunch of small cosmetic stuff and some wedssport wheels. Was it easy to sell with mods? I'm afriad I'll need to put a bunch of work into it to put it back to stock but I really don't want to.

So I've been looking into getting a stage one. However online in their store on stage 2 the list of what comes with the kit is the same as to what comes on stage one. I was wondering if I need to buy stage one, and then stage 2, or should I get a stage 2 right away since according to the product description it says it will come with it. (Which doesn't make too much sense for the price listed)

The fa20 doesn’t just blow up out of nowhere with light mods lol. If u get a proper tune, preferably not an OTS, and don’t push further than the mechanical limits, it can hold a pretty hefty amount of power.

@@remissiveslave What are you considering light mods? Because there are hundreds and hundreds of WRX's that run setups as serious as FBO on e60 and never have a complete motor failure. WRX's don't just randomly blow up with light modifications unless there is an absolutely horrible tune on the car.
