Indeed, the rest are reality rather than cooking shows and the bullying, gossiping, backstabbing, trash talking prevails. Canada and Australia shows are very decent and the contestants are not chosen based on how weird or psychopathic they are for more views

@Pass Datass I don't know who complains or doesn't, but the vast majority of viewers prefer blood and drama rather than high quality cooking by civilized people. So, it has to do with the quality of the audience. Shitty audience wants shitty shows. I believe Canada and Australia has a little bit more dignity and good for them. So, the shows are adjusted to the culture and taste of the audience, I'm saying that without being Canadian or Australian. I'm actually Greek and unfortunately the master chef show here becomes worse and worse every year. Sometimes it's so obvious that the judges themselves try to make the contestants fight by asking the "provoking" questions or "accidentally" pointing out things that will cause arguments and backstabbing.

Even though Gordon Ramsay is considered the face of MasterChef, it is arguably Marco Pierre White that is the ambassador of the MasterChef. So far as I know, Marco is the only chef that has more involvement with the various MC franchises around the world: Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, and more recently, Singapore. Marco is even the head chef of both the original Hell's Kitchen UK (along with Gordon) and Australia.
