its because the chefs in australia that make it through auditions get a full chefs training course, thats why in places like US masterchef you see people frying up a burger or grilled cheese having no idea what to do, and also in australia the contestants are told what the next challenge is, and they have full access to basically a library of cook books

Also, having kinder judges leads to different people signing up in the first place! I, for one, would never join masterchef US because I cook as a creative outlet and for fun. I love the subtle difference between Masterchef Canada in which the hosts were the ones explaining what the contestants were doing but here in Australia they really let the contestants shine; they're the ones explaining their plans and the narration of the cooking process is mostly them. Either way the two shows are both definitely more easier to watch than Masterchef US

Chef here. She says in the video that she pan seared it, but it looks poached to me. Add salt and other seasoning to taste in your beetroot juice and poach until tender is what I would do. To get the same look as hers, you simply score the body over the middle. Good luck brother.
