Thank you guys for completing the original film series. This certainly isn't the most loved film of the series. But it is a very interesting and original story. That really isn't the worst movie I've ever seen not even close. It's just a pleasure to see the turtles being their cool fun selves.

This film is greatest. Very on point for a traveling in time like the video game. The more i watch part 3. Its brillient written. Very historical. I recommend the 2007. Its like a part 4

Without comparing it, its hard to say whats really wrong it. Mikey shows bravery and emotion, April shows shes a badass when needed, Ralph shows he has inner peace with Yoshi. Its a fine movie on its own - doesnt deserve the hate.

I really enjoyed all 3 of these films and I know one of the creators of TMNT (Kevin Eastman)likes part 3 more than part 2 but I loved all 3 . They're all a fun good time. You should checkout the 2 Michael Bay ones too. There isn't a turtles movies movie that I haven't enjoyed. TMNT Mayhem is is really fun too.

It's plausible. There was a time scepter in the comics, but it was used by Renet who was like a "Time Cop" (called Time Keeper in the comics) who stopped people in the future that also Time Travel into other eras and screw things up. Gotta feeling that's where a lot of inspiration came from this movie, but they just didn't have the budget to sort it all out.

Considering the other Turtles movies: TMNT (2007) is an underrated movie! Its basically the fourth in the movie series, even though it has some influences of the 2003 animated series. While the main plot is on the weaker side, this movies theme is "a family breaking apart" and the drama between the brothers is some of the best in turtles history. The animation is pretty good and the writing (from the original creators), too! And the cast for the voices is freaking stacked! From Patrick Stwart and Lawrence Fishburn to Chris Evans, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Nolan North, John DiMaggio and the legendary Mako Iwamatsu! And even the smaller roles were filled with big names like Kevin Smith and Jennifer Hale! I would really recommend this movie, I even return to one specific scene of it from time to time to rewatch it, because it is so damn well made! Turtles Forever: This was made for the 25th anniversary of the Turtles franchise and its a fun ride, visiting all the different iterations of the turtles. The "main" focus is on the Turtles from the 2003 show but its a love letter to the whole idea of TMNT. Its absolutely worth a watch if you like the turtles!

Thank you for continuing the live action film series. Like with the Batman quadrilogy, the films are a part of the franchise's history despite their criticism. The time scepter is from the original comics, but it's not like it is in the film. Also, my uncle, Soke George Denson, worked on this film. I remember going to his dojo and seeing posters from the first movie that I still cannot find. I remember seeing ones of Shedder and Tatsu. They were probably behind the scenes photos that were blown up.

Yeah, the budget was cut for TMNT 3, so the Jim Henson Creature Shop couldn't do it. The effects team for this film created the Johnny 5 robot effects for the film SHORT CIRCUIT. They're definitely more "creaky" in their face motions, but not as HORRIBLE as most fans want to say.

I think the main thing about the turtle's faces in this one is that they all use the same face for all four turtles. In the previous two films they all had their own unique subtle but still very identifiable facial characteristics to where you could tell which turtle was which regardless of the colored bandana.

Casey was originally written to only have the babysitting. The actor almost didn’t come back for the 3rd film because of how short his part would be. So they wrote him into the time travel stuff. He did play his own ancester. It got him back to the role, but he had to convince the director and writer to put him more in the movie

Like with the first two, I was aware of this movie when I was a kid, but I didn't see it until I got it on DVD in a 4-film favorites DVD pack, which included these three live action Ninja Turtles movies, and the 2007 animated movie simply called TMNT. Batman vs. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is a direct-to-video animated movie based on the comic book of the same name. And it's really good, so I hope you guys watch it. I also recommend Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Movie from 1995, if you've never seen it. It's cheesy superhero goofiness based on the Power Rangers TV show.

Oh shit, T3!!!! The beloved 3rd movie in the series, whom the fans unanimously love, to this very day. You two are in for a real treat. Just look, Corey Feldman is voicing Donnie again, and Casey is back, it's like the 1st movie!!! As for additional Turtles stuff, likely far worse than this beloved classic. Try the 2007 CGI movie, the Rise of the TMNT movie, Turtles Forever but you'd need to have watched all the seasons of the 2003 series to truly enjoy it. And Mutant Mayhem that recently came out of course. But none of those hold a candle to T3, just gonna warn you guys

This movie´s flaw is that the budget cuts have forced Golden Harvest to work with a different company than Jim Henson. The new group had to completely redisign the suits but especially with the face animatronics they haven´t gone anywhere near Hensons skills. The idea with the Japan Time Travel was cool and i loved having Elias Koteas back as Casey Jones. Also the idea letting the ancient Japanese people recognize the Turtles as Kappa is great. A Kappa is a mythical demon, himan sized, looks like a Turtle with monk haircut and a beak. Mythology says that Kappa drown careless people in rivers.

When Leo is fighting the one guy and he just stops in the middle and hands the guy his swords and goes "here hold these" and the dudes like "ok" and then Leo bops him in the face. Lol. 3 is my favorite and people are just haters. You give me Time Travel in any movie and its a must watch for me. I would also recommend TMNT (The animated one) as its technically a 4th film in the timeline. But that Turtle movie with the 80's turtles meeting the newer turtles is pretty Rad. Please like some in the comment section have pointed out please react to the movie simply titled TMNT from 2007, it's actually the fourth movie in the series but it's animated instead of live action and it also serves as a soft reboot of the franchise. Though you must look at it as a stand alone because it was meant to be part of a brand new trilogy that got cancelled hence why I say it's a sort of continuation of the live action films because they get referenced but there's a lot of newer stuff to consider it a reboot that can stand alone.

Might I suggest Howard the Duck. Like this film it’s not great but it is enjoyable and campy fun. I’d also echo suggestions like Masters of the Universe. Other than the Superman and Batman films, there weren't that many live action cartoon/comic book movies in the late 80's and 90's. Masters of the Universe is worth a look as noted. The Rocketeer would be another. Judge Dredd maybe. Power Rangers, The Mask, Flash Gordon, etc.

My family used to have all 3 of the films in VHS, and I will admit, as kids, my brother and I watched 2 and 3 more than the first. We both think the first movie is a better movie, but 2 and 3 are funnier, light-hearted, and way more quotable. As for movies that my brother and I enjoyed that are similar to TMNT, we really enjoyed 3 Ninjas and Surf Ninjas.

No, “Turtles in Time” is not the subtitle of this movie! Alot of people are under that impression but it’s not true, this movie does not have a subtitle. “Turtles in Time” is the subtitle for the 4th Turtles video game for Super Nintendo

The only other TMNT movie I've seen is the Michael Bay one, and it was not good. The suits are different in every one of the trilogy's movies, arguably getting worse each time. As Jordan said, I think they increased maneuverability each time. I think they also added more facial expressions, but that caused them to look goofier. Those teeth... I don't know of a better comic book adaptation than the first TMNT, and I don't know of a better cartoon adaptation than the second TMNT. Logan is a great movie, but it's not much like the comics and it's very far from the cartoon. I'm not sure how close Deadpool is to the comic. If you want to watch an actual cartoon, though, Mask of the Phantasm is a great movie that is almost perfectly aligned with the Animated Series.

I don't like bashing this movie but this movie came out on my 7th birthday and I was so disappointed. This movie just felt like the cartoon rather than the comic and the villain was so boring and not using Casey Jones was such a waste.

Well I think that was the point of Witt, he was portrayed by the same actor. So he was kind of a “make up” for the pointlessness of Casey

So does that mean this was the first Turtles movie you saw and were a fan of the comic and NOT the cartoon? Just seems odd considering all these complaints apply to the second film as well.

I wasn't expecting y'all to watch this, as I was one of those that mentioned y'all could skip it and not miss anything. But I commend you for finishing the trilogy. I cannot say I wouldn't have done the same in your shoes. Biggest plus to me about this film was the return of Corey Feldman as the voice of Donatello and Elias Kotes.

Biggest plus for me is having some fun martial arts action back after it being sorely missed in the second.

I’ve got to say that TMNT3 has the most hilarious fighting and comedic moments. I can’t wait to see your reaction to the Bayverse’s TMNT!!!!
