I love how you actually go out of your way to farm/show the process of what you said instead of just explaining theory, makes it a lot more digestable for new maplers like me and the effort you put is obvious! subbed., Also curious, for your endgame familiar, so you need to reach level 5 with a lot of familiar first and then fuse them until unique , and then hope that you got the stat you want, if you didnt, you gotta start over again??

Yeah so once you hit unique you can't change the potential anymore. So you have to level and rank up a new familiar to try to hit the potentials you're looking for. Glad you enjoyed, there is more to come soon!

I'm sorry if I've missed it in the video but is there a way to re-roll the familiar's stats? Like for example if I get a familiar up to unique and I get absolute garbage rolls... is it pretty much lost or is there a way to re-roll the stats?

It's lost and you have to level another, if you are in reg server, you need to look for red cards

Does ranking up a familiar reset its potential completely, or does it "evolve" the stats it had prior to ranking up? Would it be better to reveal a potential and rank it up, or just rank up as soon as possible to reveal a ranked up familiar's potential, and then discard it if its not good?

Resets it completely. So first reveal, if it has a good potential keep it and level another fam. Only tier up familiars if their potentials are bad

To efficiently level up fams to epic and then roll for good lines, is it best to unlock all 3 slots first? That way instead of just one being equipped and leveled, it would be three instead? Also I’m a bit confused. When you level up to five, do you just click up rank up? Or do you have to fuse it or feed it like spare fams first?

You need to feed it spares first. Also you can have 3 fams going at the same time to level, but if you do that you are giving up 100% drop rate assuming that you are farming with a drop familiar

@@akkad398 So I’m in the process of switching mains and I have like storage + 3 chars stocked up on familiars. So when I do dailies, drop rate is not a concern atm. It’s best to unlock 3 slots first then right? And also feed it commons?

@@moffo2626 yeah you can unlock it 3 slots, but once again familiars isn't the only other important drop, ideally you wanna have 1 drop familiar and then level up 2 together. Familiar drop is such a big part in getting extra nodes and other useful items in the river like droplets. But ideally yes opening 3 slots for your new main is a priority if you already have familiars in the back log

sorry for the late response, I'm glad that you loved the video! On reboot if you cannot reroll the lines of unqiue familiars, so you need to rank up a new familiar and hope that it hits the lines that you are looking for. Hope this helps!

You don't, once you tier up you to reroll stats. So only rank up familiars that have stats you don't need

Sorry if you touched on it and I just missed it, but is there like, a cap on how much of certain lines you can get from your loadout? I see that you have 2 %boss familiars in the boss loadouts so I assume that those stack to 65%. On the other hand, I also see you only have one large drop fam in your loadout, so I assume that it caps at 100% specifically for drop rate (as in, adding one of the big spiders wouldn't pop it up to 160?). If the assumption is correct, do any other stat lines have similar caps?

Yeah so boss and IED stack, while drop doesn't. Also when it comes to the badges for familiars, the stats that you get from badges cap at a certain amount

Nope, that's the thing about familiars in reboot you constantly have to level up new familiars to roll new potentials

Yeah don't rank it up it resets the lines, keep it at rare, large meso and drop is pretty good but not the best. It gives 60% drop and meso drop

No they don't stack, and ideally you want to have the line "increases item drop rate by a large amount" as it increases your drop rate by the maximum which is 100%

Hey man been binging your videos lately, returning player here I have a question about the familiars. So once they are epic, and you get shitty line do you just decon it and hope the next epic goes well? What about unique, once you upgrade from epic to unique does the lines change or same lines just they will be in the unique tier? Since if they change from epic to unique in theory you can get shitty unique familiar right?

The line changes once again when you go from epic to unique, so you get 2 rolls going from rare to unique. Once you get nothing, then you either have to dispose the familiar or fuse it into another familiar you are leveling up (it gives 4 familiar exp)

No specific familiar is better than another for rolling familiar potentials, all of them are the same now. The old system used to give specific monsters specific familiar potentials, but that system is no more 💀 Hope this helps!

It's up to you at that point, if you need familiar points to buy more refills than do that. If you need more cards to fuse because you're running out than do that, it all just depends on what you're running low of

I strongly disagree with not needing to focus on this early game. getting lucky and hitting a increase item drop rate by a large amount is incredibly useful early into the game. even just 15% ignore defense on 1-2 of them is huge. its something you can just have toggled on while you farm dailies. not something to go heavily out of your way but to completely ignore is a missed opportunity

Never got a bossing familiar and I went threw thousands of familiars LOL. How long or many familiars does it take to get a bossing familiar because I’m at a point of giving up and settling with my PDR familiars.

Bossing familiars take a VERY long time. Just for reference I've been rolling familiars since I was level 245 and only now have I been able to hit 2 30% boss familiars at 27x

This definitely is true. It is very time consuming and very draining when you open familiars and get nothing to show for it. But this also is apart of the "min maxing" that goes along with any end game character if you want to do the most amount of damage possible this step is necessary because this can add to up be a lot of stats. Glad you enjoyed though. But the most important thing is to play the game hoe you like and progress at your own speed!
