It HORRIBLY sad and DANGEROUS that this video is 3 years old, yet very little has changed and far too many STILL refuse to accept the irrefutable FACTS... It is this denial that keeps this country from becoming the best that it can be!!!

Important work, collecting and sharing data. I would be really interested in similar work on homicide and violence against police and if/how this correlates with the findings.

Thank you Samuel, I just viewed your video and WOW ! - are you through in your analysis. Never have I been inundated with such factual insightful information regarding the problem that police brutality brings to any society. You are part of the solution in ending this perpetual situation that as you stated is historic in proportion. At least you are a catalyst for positive change without the endless rhetoric that we are subjected to repeatedly over generations. Good on you! Your courageous emotional intelligence is very much appreciated even in the middle of global vertigo !

I think this gentleman has done a super job of tackling complex data and presenting it in as bias-free fashion as one can. His suggestions to help reduce police homicides should be adopted by all law enforcement agencies; other studies support what he's suggesting (AND, what's the harm in deescalation techniques!)

I can't stand BLM because it ignores their violent culture and their aggressive consumerism as a no issue for control. Spawning an influx of generation with a no regard for others. I cannot respect something that is hypocrisy in face of the world

But change _has_ happened. The police have been weakened, and crime rates have increased. Thousands more murders in 2020 than in 2019 and 2018. The activists have succeeded, and we have the dead victims to prove it. Congratulations BLM! Can't wait to see what you've got in store for us next year.

3 to 4 people a day in America, that's more than terrorists kill in America each year! This is out of control and people need responsive action to be taken immediately without due delay, maybe someone should inform Homeland Security about all this death !

Philadelphia's citizen stand with their police too, but they do not endorse police brutality as a phony form of patraiotism, Constitutional Law in theory is Patriotism.

I like how he starts the lecture with 1000 ppl killed by police last year. Admittedly a lot of people but when compared to a 360million population it comes out to a 0.000000278% of being killed by police. Just to give context to the whole discussion.

Some of these graphs are extremely suspect. 99% of cases had police not arrested? Like of every single case? I’m surprised it was even 20% then. Not the mention all the other statistics that leave out vital information.

It would be helpful how the data on shootings by race stacks up, if the crime rates of the respective groups are taken into account. Same issue with the total number of police killings per year: it would be helpful to see this killing total considered in the context of our total population and of the total amount of crime we have.

Nah, he wasn't pushing anything anywhere. He was following the actual data. If you look around and don't see that what he's saying is very real then you're not paying attention, or you just don't like the truth. Either way it's real, and until we all take it seriously, attack the root causes of crimes, and come together to fix it things will only get worse.
