Oh, & he's fluent in four languages- one of which is Chinese- & dropped out of the first semester of pre-med to do The Sing-Off...then went back & finished the semester!

I am SO glad to see you two reacting to this!! I know it's hard getting their videos up, and we appreciate the struggle you go through. But hey, even if they can't be reacted to, you can still listen to them, because PTX is NOT slowing down any time soon!! Last year's Christmas album was recently nominated for a Grammy, by the way! Also, their non-Christmas music going forward is now going to be self-labeled, so that may help tremendously with the whole copyright thing.

Good to see you guys again... I missed seeing your reactions of PTX. Your reaction to "Kiss from a Rose" has one very distinctive similarity that is common with other reactors. This video is so good that, while hearing it when those big vocal splashes/surprises happen, the reactors at these moments have some difficulty stringing sentences together because of wanting to express so many thoughts at one time. lol I Love it! PTX has 31songs (8 new songs) on their most recent album (Kiss from a Rose is one) to react on. And let's hear that little Queen Kirstie's vibrato again! 👍

I clicked so fast when I saw you guys had reacted to this! So glad you are reacting to PTX again, despite the difficulties. I love how giddy you were! You said you have been missing Mitch's voice so you might want to react to his solo stuff as Messer. He puts it out on his own label so I doubt very much it would get blocked. His most recent single Halfway is amazing and he wrote it himself and co-produced it too. But a lot of people find the Messer visualisers a bit odd, so be prepared for that! Also: the Making of Evergreen mini documentary by PTX would probably blow your mind. It is so interesting to see the behind the scenes stuff.

Meh. Those are from the Masked Singer show, where they used canned instrumental backing tracks. I like that they're using more of their own talents, like when Kevin breaks out his cello, or Scott plays piano. They're incredibly talented and they need to keep challenging themselves, including using instruments, but not just a synthetic track. For more of Scott's rasp, I'd suggest 2 from last year's Xmas album--Prayers For This World and their cover of Last Christmas.

This is a cover song, originally done by Seal. I love Scott's belting !!! He seems to be more open and has a sexy quality on this one. Matt's voice is so rich and inviting. Kirstie was just so clear and clean cut through all the guys voices. She is EPIC !! OMG, your faces and reaction to Kevin's "Baaaabay!" was priceless !! 😅😅 Scott's last belt was GALACTIC !! I love this version of the song and am more amazed every time I listen to it. Never really cared for the original, probably because it was so over played. But THIS, this is pure MAGIC ! It’s live, with some probably post production. Kevin is also looping which is why it sounds like there are multiple instruments at certain points.

Every reactor, and Ive seen dozens, is either speechless or only capable of repeating a few words over and over again. A frequent exclamation is: "What did I just see?!" Missed you guys and your PTX reaction. I would advise you to check out their new Christmas album and specifically the 8 new songs (this is one of the 8). Also check out Scott's new solo album - Parallel and several of Mitch's new solo releases (Messer - Oblivion, Velvet and Halfway). If you like the grit check out their sendoff performance of Creep from the Masked Singer show...alot like this but it does have a backing band as that was required on the show. Finally, their Christmas album from 2021 - Evergreen was nominated for a Grammy (did not win) and last year's Christmas album - Holidays around the World is nominated this year for a Grammy.

Glad to see you back with PTX reactions! This video has been breaking even seasoned PTX reactors and viewers! I just wish Kirstie got more lead/solo time. Man, I REALLY don't understand KZbin's copyright shenanigans. I've seen a couple of dozen reactions to this video by now. Most didn't do ANYTHING and got by okay, a minority had some text over it (and may have only done that in anticipation of copyright problems), but NO ONE up until now has had to alter/cut the audio portions for copyright purposes. If that's the case, you guys must be on YT's absolute sh*t list for some reason!

Okay, when did PTX add you to their payroll? LOL, just playing. It’s so good to see you back with a Pentatonix reaction! (I go back every now and again to watch you do Superfruit’s Frozen video, I think it’s just as cathartic for me as it was for you.) I had to watch this video a couple of times straight in the beginning to absorb most of it, but Kevin still makes me grin like a fool. I know the copyright issues can be daunting, but thanks for persevering. They have split from their label for all but their Christmas music, so it may be better going forward. I personally loved how you felt compelled to stop and comment every step of the way - nothing gets lost that way. As others have said, check out Creep and I Rise, Scott’s solo stuff and Mitch’s latest Messer releases, please. Peace … (Added) I just took a quick look at your playlist, and I didn’t see a reaction to Recording Evergreen, their mini-doc about recording in the studio. You may want to check that one out.
