People who dislike this must hate rock that actually is unique. There are too many "by-the-numbers" rock bands out there who take no chances with their music and play the "same old, same old" chords and hooks to remain relevant, while we all fall asleep to the lack of innovation from those bands who do nothing to move the rock genre forwards. Give me more bands like this. Bands like this actually keep rock relevant.

So, we're back at where we first met! Maps & Atlases has been one of my favorite bands ever, and I thank KEXP for showing me their sounds 5 years ago. This is amazing, so happy to hear new tunes from the new album. Please keep it up and also COME TO BRAZIL!

One of my favorite bands for years. Ive seen many prog/math rock shows, but the tour they did wih Minus the Bear (@CrocRock where i saw them in PA) was incredible. So glad they're still doing their thing; look forward to catching them here in Denver👌

I feel like this is a band that you have to see live. If I would have heard them through Spotify I probably would have turned it off before I made it through two songs, but having seen them live I was beyond impressed. So technically proficient.

If you notice at 2:32 the bassist (Shiraz Dada) doesn't have his amp plugged in. It seemed like they were playing along with a recording, and that's probably why it felt kinda off.

Not a confident performance. Sounds like they were still getting comfortable with the new material and falling off of the loops/samples a bit. Band is still amazing, this video just happens to preserve an "off day" of theirs for everyone to critique every day.
