Hi friends! I'm back at it! Today I am sharing an entire week of styling (minus one day where it was just re-setting my hair) and hopefully this gives you all some ideas on how to style your hair vintage throughout the week! Now that I'm learning to carve out more time for myself throughout the day, it's becoming easier to keep up vintage styling and I'm LOVING cultivating this habit! Which hairstyle is your favorite?

I can do a Dutch braid (I think where it sits “outside” the braid) on other people but on myself I can only do the French (sits “inside” the hair) braid and I don’t know how to change that 😂 so I feel you!

My Mother and I had waist length hair. Mom was a professional women so shedid her d hair in all sorts of styles with braids. My hair was french braided most days. My Dad french braid my hair some days. Thank you. Your videos are fun😊

Photos of my moms mom she has always had poofy hair in the best way... on my dads side it was always kept very short while i was alive but before she had kids she kept her hair shoulder length and poofy bottomed. I didnt get either of their poof. I have zero curl pattern so curl looks are hard to maintain for me and because of that i have to wash my hair more often than keeping it in braids. I used to have a photo of my great grandma on my dads side from 1900 with her red hair in milkbraids. Her hair was so long it was actually French Braided down and then wrapped up the other side and end of the braids was pinned together like yours is on top. I dont know how she maintained such long hair back then, especially with all her kids.

my natural hair will be straight if I dare sleep on it un curled, it's a bit better since I bleach it but if i don't curl it at night I can only get a 60s style the next day which really sucks as I love a fluffy curl but thankfully with my hair being quite short it only take 7-9 minutes at night to chuck it in my foam rollers and give a spritz of water/setting spray

I have a question about scarves. I have some sensory issues and don’t like having a scarf over my ears but they easily slide off my head. Do you have any tips? I do sometimes slide a bobby-pin but they sometimes pull too much on the baby hairs around my face and it’s painful to take them out later

I learned that hair spraying the scarf can help it stay! Also find scarves that aren’t slippery in texture. Chiffon or cotton are good and stay better than silk or polyester.

I wish I could wear Son de Flor but I looked at the measurements for most of their XXL pieces and it's too small for me, I don't know my US size but for EU I'm between 50 and 52, which is usually XXL here in Europe, but the XXL for Son de Flor is more like a 44-46 at the most which is an L here in Europe. It's kinda frustrating

Hi. I was looking earlier and I think they recently added 3xl and 4xl sizes. Also, for me I wear one whole size smaller in the wrap dresses than the classic ones. Hope this helps!
