Fantastic update. Your 14 mile marathon pace on the treadmill was very impressive and I think it indicates you are very well prepared for sub 2:40 in Carmel. Good luck. I know you can do it!!!

Great motivation there, it wouldve been so easy to lounge about the pool drinking cocktails. Cant wait for the marathon now.

I am quite amazed by the race predictor in your watch. I also wear a Garmin (Fenix 6 PRO) and basically tells me I am a turtle despite being in shape for a 2.42 marathon. Keep up the hard work and motivation!

Thanks for your comment! I often wonder about the predictor. Your experience is that it predicts slow? (I hope so!). :)
@Jjmv19867 ай бұрын
@@global-runner my experience is that the predictor is always off! And by a lot

Nice work. I found running on the TM in hawaii brutal with the heat and humidity and no fan!

I wish all the best in Carmel! You will do great no matter what because to be able to run on such level in our age is outstanding!💪 i will be running Boston 2days after you, i am 47 so these training sessions are not jokes, but you did your best in these!😉 enjoy the race!

Thank you!!! Do you have goals for Boston?? Have fun. It’s a great one. (Apart from freezing in a field for hours at the start)

@@global-runner Thanks for asking,around 12 years ago while living in Europe i wanted to run Boston one day, now living in USA I achieved my goal and that is to qualify for the Boston🙂 but if i will be able to attack my PB 3:03:45 from 12 years ago that would be big bonus on top of that. Started running again 2years ago and it’s not easy to get back as you know probably by yourself. May i ask you what is your PB in marathon? Are you runner since childhood?
@global-runner7 ай бұрын
Yes I was always a runner. Right from young age. I ran track in school. My best marathon is 2:26.52 which I ran in 2017. I also ran a 3:09 50km in 2022 so hopefully it’s just a question of getting back to that fitness level.
