Most kids in canada have spent at least 2 years learning about greek and roman mythology and history, and then in gr.11 & 12 people have the options of taking advanced placement history classes where a person could have chosen to focus on greek mythology.

I gotta admit, I had never really given ants much thought. Sometimes I'd see videos of them swarming something and find it interesting, but that was it. But coming across your channel and listening to you talk about your ant colonies and how much love and care you put into them and how genuinely excited and happy you seem to be about them all makes these videos stand out above similar types of youtube videos! The excitement is contagious, and I personally love finding videos of things people genuinely pour their heart into and your channel has actually turned into an example I use when talking to people about this. Creatures living with the titans include millipedes, earthworms, and bagworms! I was lucky enough to find a carpenter ant queen with the eggs of her nanitics earlier this summer, and moved her into an improv test tube setup. I'm really looking forward to trying my hand at ant-keeping, and she seems to be doing well so far. Thanks for the inspiration, and for the second-hand lessons learned through your videos! Ants have quickly become one of my favorite creatures lol

I love this... Mikey.. you have inspired me so much through this channel, it started with beetles then it turned into ants... I was suggested another channel and I got to better understand tarantulas, then I saw a video about jumping spiders and I fell in love... And now..what started as me watching your beetle videos, has turned into my whole family being passionate about bugs... and getting over our arachnophobia.. We currently house 3 jumping spiders, and are looking to get a mantis.. and we unfortunately missed the camponatus nuptials but I know there will be another ant nuptial in September for me, so we (my family) will try to catch some queens to add to our bug collection... you've really opened my eyes and subsequently opened my families eyes to how incredibly interesting, amazing, and often personable insects are. Once I gave ants in my yard a few whoppers (the chocolate candies) and I was shocked by the fact they only ate the inside of the whoppers and not the chocolate coating. They ended up covering the chocolate shells in dirt and it gave their little area a unique look with all those dirt domes everywhere.

Lump Charcoal and/or Activated Carbon(charcoal), the secret to terrariums. Charcoal also is favored by Spring Tails which eat mold/fungus, which also creates odors.
