Just got mine today but withy luck its snowy and rainy. It did get like a good 5 min of sun and charged my power bank a little. But with the clouds its not enough sun to charge.

The only problem with solar is cloudy weather. Thanks for the comment and views.

I have an older Anker 21 watt panel that I use with 2 separate 10,000 mah power banks during power outage or camping. 0ne recharges devices at night, goes in panel next day to recharge so never without fully recharged devices. Cheers

That is a good strategy. Wish I had a camping buddy to carry another power bank and do the same. Me I'm getting to many things in my pack and I am not getting younger lol. Thanks for the comment and views.

I found that running two of these at once is better, so I get 20-40w. I also think that the other Marbero 30w panel (without velcro and plug-in being inside of a zipper pocket) was better. Lighter weight and honestly hard to say if one was better than the other when charging. I have a few power banks, but a good one to match this with is the Powkey 120wh (200w max) solar power station, 33,000 mah equilavent.

Thanks for sharing! I looked up that power station you mentioned. I do own one never reviewed it on the channel as I am still evaluating it. I ended up getting the VTOMAN flashspeed 1500 along with the 400Watt solar panel for it. so far very impressed. The marbero I mainly use with a small pocket power bank when I'm out and alone. The VTOMAN for car camping.

Everybody that can afford to buy portable solar panels should do it. Funny, I have some solar rechargeable radios. If I was dependent on charging them in the sun for power I'd be waiting forever, but when I plug them into my 100 watt solar panel it's ridiculously fast. I love portable power banks and solar panels. Electricity is a luxury when power is out. I don't have a 30W in my stash. 3 lbs is great.

Funny you should say that Patricia. I lost power here for about 5 hours yesterday. But I had my cell my battery bank and my panel so it was all good. Went shopping a town over where there was power and I put my panel on the dash of my truck to charge up my battery bank. Came out an hour later and it was almost fully charged. For disaster prep a small portable panel like this is a must. Thanks for the comment and views.

This 30-watt panel appears to be well constructed. I was thinking about how well it would fit inside our Faraday cage along with the flexible panels we own that will curl nicely around the inside perimeter against the insulative lining. The discount price makes this set a heck yes if we can find it on this side of the pond.

Good luck. I use this thing almost everyday. on the dash of my truck while shopping. always surprised to see how much it charges up my battery bank. since getting this I have used my battery bank to charge my phone exclusively and the panel to charge the battery bank.

@user-fz7oz4zr2c I wouldn't say that. But if you don't have usb c charging capability this is not for you.

What's the best way to protect it from EMP?
@charlesartificer21588 ай бұрын
@Demosophist Keep it in a faraday cage. Alot of people use a metal trashcan that they modify for such an event. There are videos on KZbin. Thanks for the comment and views.

if you are asking about the swiss tech leistung it is listed as 20,000 mah. However a lot of people have a lot of problems with these.
