This song is the one that ignited the soul of this EP, which makes sense that we release it first. Jonathan was in attendance when Pavarotti performed it with Brian May in Italy, and was so moved by the performance that he decided he wanted to record “Too Much Love Will Kill You” one day, in the same fashion some day, with someone who could handle the Mercury vocals. Welp… enter, me. And here we are today, releasing this beautiful, heart wrenching song penned by Brian May.

Maybe I’m crazy (most definitely am) but Martel’s facial/bone structure has some intriguing similarities to that of Freddie’s?! And of course the voice itself and Freddie’s iconic jaw/mouth positioning is spot on! He’s a Québécois version of Mercury! 😂

Am so glad you said that. He has used his voice here although a lot of comments seem to say he sounds like Freddie in this song too. Maybe the vocal arrangements are more similar to Freddie singing it than Brian May's version.

Very congrats Marc, you found a way how to rearrange a masterpiece without losing anything which Freddie gave to it. This is excellent! I have no enough words to describe. Like Fredy sings that song and he never, never sung it. Marc Martel is very spezial.
