I like the kiss/curse active abilities; great way to nerf feint while having an interesting offensive cd with 2 charges with the talent. I like the trickster tree, looked super interesting especially with the distract interaction and how that could be used in pvp. Everything from dragon down was really cool.

One of the biggest thing that doesn't make sense to me is why give each hero talent to two specs if they're going to be entirely different depending on the spec? What is even the point?

Templar so far gameplay wise looks great! It’s only the class fantasy that needs better fleshed out. The theme should absolutely be on swords and not hammers. Especially considering that Eye of Tyr and Wake of Ashes are sword based artifacts!

That 5% size increase for colossus is a game changer, I'm gonna main a warrior no matter what. I'm also very interested in the scale commanders!! Those bombardment procs sound like a lot of fun, and also the feeling of mass desintegrate should be cool as hell!! Very eager to know about shaman and dk trees tho! And the remaining hunter trees as well 😮

Destro gets wild imps because of class fantasy. The whole point of the hero talents is to create a fusion of two specs. Seeing a destro with a pit lord, infernal, and wild imps sounds like a nice fusion between destro and demonologist.

Numbers can be fixed faster, its math, and though I have to wonder sometimes. I'm pretty sure they have a least a couple of people there that runs the numbers. What is really more important is gameplay/theme. So far all I've seen has bene great, all but trickster. Trickster for Rogues is hot garbage, except for he talent that turns tricks into an hour long buff. they need to keep that. For me as a ret main, Herald of the Sun Looks good, and Templar looks amazing. I can't wait to try them both out. But I'm also a paladin that likes the support of Lightsmith. being able to give yourself a defensive buff, or dps buff, and share that with your party/raid. That seems like it could be guaranteed spot needed for raid for sure. Whether it comes from your holy paladin, or your Prot paladin. bring it on. I will probably switch between HoTS and Templar early on as needed, but once i get some gear I'm probably going to stick solely with Templar. I like the single target/cleave it has, and I can switch my spec talents as we do now for Raid or Mplus. Problem is right now in DF we lose something along the lings of 25 percent of our ST damage when we go into Mplus build. No other spec in the game loses that much damage to aoe. I think/hop that Templar will make up for that, meaning in Mplus we can benefit from AOE spec talents, but our hero talents will keep our Single Target damage competitive, because right now it only is some what if you have the Legendary Axe. which I do but I've only had for a week now and I've been running heroic every week except one since the raid had been out.

As a monk main, i am sad they still have nothing for monks. Part of me is holding out for a monk update (not as big as paladin rogues or DH's) before they show off the hero talents. But as a paladin alt player, im excited for the Templar build and am super excited to heal as ret with herald of the sun. Or at least to have fun with that.

That talent that makes Starfire hit for 40% more damage on the main target needs to be change to have its cast time reduced so you can still smoothly use Starfire lunar eclipse on ST.

Dude, Lunar beam is looking like 33% uptime as a Last Stand, potentially alternating Barkskin and Lunar Beam and be in one or the other constantly. And while Lunar Beam has historically not been great, the hero tree will make it worth it, BUT the big one is Arcane Thrash and Fury of Elune. Moonbear is going to be so retardly fun and strong I cannot wait. And this is coming from someone who doomers alot on blizzard's ideas. This one is great.

I dunno, right now hero talents seem like meh, I thought they would be common for 2 specs, like making them either new or more universal, but now they just seem like mostly 2 different talent options for 2 different specs, so what's the point of uniting specs at all? And I'm not even talking about fantasy, names and gameplay, those are questinable too (diabolist? Seriously? Sun paladin? What are you talking about?)

Well i think if they managed to make prot warr viable (compare to dh) would about time. I tank all specs, and boy oh boy do they neglect certain specs next to others, these discrepancies are easy to at least partially correct and more than anything devs need to buckle down and get it right

We really need to push back to blizzard that any required talent for a hero tree to work needs to become baseline or at the very top of the talent tree so you already have to take it. Otherwise why not just make a talent branch off that talent.

If I were new I would say “Oh they didn't reveal Monk because they are working on rework” but I've been playing Monk since late Legion and they decently just don't know what to do with this class. In July someone will say “Oh shit we forgot about monks, let's make some +2% dmg to FoF when a player spins his camera and +10% dmg for DH when a player deletes his monk character”

the warrior tree is absolute nonsense. It's so typical of blizzard, compare warrior tree to warlock tree and it almost feels like a joke. warlock tree is pure class fantasy with extremely valuable gameplay implication warrior is "get 5% size" on a single node.... top it off with the whole tree pretty much would only make a difference if you min/max or playing the highest lvl content because lets be real, 10% dmg buffs all over the place is literally sooooo useless.... I fucking cannot stand Blizzard, it's just literally not that hard man

Still praying 🙏 for dk rework. At the very least, some of the animations and particle effects. We have the WORST animations and ability effects in the game. Everything looks so dated and dull. I mean I’m a death knight and all my powers and abilities look weak and nonsensical compared to literally any other class. Frost is especially lack luster and weak looking. Nothing frost does looks powerful at all.

Selling pointless effects as the next best thing, but it's complete garbage, and achieves nothing! Oh, severite is priced at low silver. That means no-one is making gear now. Like hero talents, crafting is pointless as no one is doing it. See material Silver prices on the AH... This has never, ever been this low, as the demand has always been in gold...

Terrible class design FORCING trickster rogue to use feint in a rotation i guess you didnt learn from when you tried to FORCE demon hunters to use spectral sight and the back lash was so much you changed it. terrible class design for trickster i wont be playing my rogue if this goes forward.
