Its a common act for gay performer/singers/comedians in bars. Its not the first time a performer auditioned in local tv with two voice act it is overused w/matching gimick of dressing up like girl half of the body and the other half is man it is seen as normal already eventually the contestant will be eliminated. Marcelito didnt came out of nowhere to sudden popularity now, he reach highest popularity already in the Philippines hes so younger back then a decade ago when he won the talent show on the most watch tv network in the country. He just have a comeback of being notice/watch and expose to international audience in the interweb because of a local fm radio music channel that uploads guest singers live performance on their radio show in a bus on youtube which is reacted by so many international reactors on youtube. With renewed interest by many people either his fm radio performance video was noticed by Ellen's staff or people campaigned for Marcelito to be notice by Ellen hence he was ask to perform on her show and the rest is history in the making with his international exposure.

Marcelito Pomoy was'nt educated person even in primary level and he does not have a formal voice lesson he just learned to sing by himself 'cuz he was an orphan before....he sings well from the audition to the semi-finals even all song writers,producers,singers,judges as well as the audiences felt the goosebumps while that person singing the song......yes maybe there are many people can sing girl/boy versions at the same time but they cannot hit the highest headtone that Marcelito did......Marcelito performed on stage very well even though he is not feeling well but he made it throught the semi-finals then the grand finale will be soon coming!.....so why did that person caught the attention from all over the world if that person,whose named Marcelito Pomoy doesn't sings well or he's not good enough........Ohhh come on!..you're reacting to much.…get up!....standup!!!!....see yourself in a mirror and try to sing if you can sing well more than he did!!!!.......Shame on you guys.......Don't be bully to Filipinos or even to other people.....!
