He is amazing and unique not many can do a duet on their own especially singing in two foreign languages and singing the female and male parts. The Phillipines is full of talent. I would suggest checking out next SoHyang from Korea. To me she’s one of the best female vocalists of all time. SoHyang “bridge over troubled waters”

who would trust a judge (at court, at a competition, etc) who has personal interest in the outcome? Simon was judge and executive producer. that show was prerecorded half a year earlier and heavily edited, eg changing the order of performances to give a false justification why he didn't get the golden buzzer (simon gave it to his favorites who performed first, but it was shown with Marcelito being the first and saying "we just couldn't give it to the first one") and they copied a scene from the finals to the semifinals and then on broadcasting told the viewers to wish him luck for the finals. they also made him tell his incredible life story with some unnecessry embelishments, etc. those shows also limit songs to 2 minutes to have more time for commercials, and thus those songs were already shortened and cut before editing them in postproduction. i now avoid all such shows if a song is available in any other version from any other source (eg this one from the wishbus instead of the short version from the contest)

This is the song that Marcelito used to win Filipinos Got Talent in 2011 starting his music career. Fascinating backstory he literally grew up on the streets from the age of 7. He was working in construction when he won. Since Marcelito did not attend school he did not learn English as most Filipinos do so he uses his wife or his manager/keyboard player for translation when he doesn't understand. A very generous man he does hands on charitable giving annually on his birthday and has built at least 3 small houses for older adults he found out about. His KZbin was hacked after America's Got Talent so you may have to go to one of his 2 major fans KZbin channels for some of his performances-Ritch (a family friend) or Yffar Raffy (a fan)

Great reaction! Another great artist is Angelina Jordan. Won Norway's Got Talent at age 7/8yrs. Started singing at 18 months. Loves jazz, soul, pop. She does covers and her own arrangements. A true child prodigy of music. She is now 18, signed a contract with Republican Records 14 yrs with special conditions as per her amazing parents. Go down the rabbit hole and fine a tryly remarkable human being. ❤

Radio Host: So, Marcelito - whose part will you be singing? Celine's or Andrea's? Marcelito: Yes. Also, just a little FYI: Marcelito is performing on the Wish Bus. This is essentially a mobile radio station in a bus which goes around the city. It stops here and there, so artists can perform, and fans can watch the performance either through the glass windows or on a screen mounted outside it. It was popular some years back; don't know if this is still being done now.
