Bielsa did not disrespect any team. Instead he was respecting football. He took every game seriously and was being respectful to football the beautiful game by putting so much effort into analyzing opponent’s games. This is respect to football. Top class, respect to Bielsa form Me.

The one thing that makes me laugh about this whole incident, and there are many things that are laughable, is that apparently it's not the British way and it goes against the British sporting culture. Presumably that is the same sporting culture where diving, feigning injury, surrounding and disrespecting match officials, on and off the pitch racism and football hooliganism is rife. Those things are okay, whereas someone standing on a public thoroughfare watching a training session 200 yards away is such a heinous crime that everyone is up in arms about it. All football clubs do it. The abuse that Bielsa got from the media was actually pretty racist, but that's okay, because it is part of the British sporting culture...

This is a little insincere. Racism and hooliganism are certainly not seen as "okay" in English football, and with the exception of a couple of blow-hards most of the commentary on the spying incident was pretty lighthearted. To claim (as some have) that Bielsa is some poor, misunderstood victim of xenophobia is quite absurd given that I've never known a second division manager to be so revered. People love the guy.

Wait, you mean to tell me English clubs don't analyze opponents and play against their weaknesses? Then why don't they send in the managers into the pitch and flip a coin to determine the winner of every match then? What nonsense and a joke!

If it didn't make any difference he wouldn't have continously sent a "young intern" to go watch every other teams training. Having said that you have to love it 🤣

It's about leaving no stone unturned, even though most of the research will actually prove to be useless, knowing that you have done it brings comfort and satisfaction that you've done all you can.

This was a scandal??? Bilardo was way worst 🤣🤣 and Mourinho research so much i think he even knows what each player of the other team likes to eat. Great managers research a lot in order to decide the best strategy.
