March 2024 Speaker Series: Small-Business Forecasting with Mike Hoyt- CWC Bootstrap Collaborative

Mike Hoyt has a Bachelor’s degree in Latin American Studies with a strong minor
in Economics. He also has an MBA degree. Professionally, he’s worked in various
industries including retail, health care, manufacturing, and oil and gas. His range
of experience includes working with Fortune 500 companies to help grow a start-
up business, to sales over 17 million dollars, and two acquisitions. He’s
passionate about business and helping firms grow, develop, and improve
profitability. He is a data driven, people-oriented business specialist who now
works with Central Wyoming College as the Director of the Bootstrap
Collaborative with a focus on helping small businesses connect with resources,
contacts , and training.
In this presentation, Mike will expand on our last Speaker Series on putting together your
business numbers like the Profit and Loss Statement. Mike will cover how to use
your business numbers to forecast and plan for the next year. He will show us
some tools and best practices for tracking expenses, and some tips for staying
organized.
