I was in a HUGE reading slump throughout the end of last year and the whole beginning of this year, and then finally in the first week of march something in me snapped and I got right back into it and actually had a pretty good reading month. Hope your reading slump ends soon!

Kat, I just wanted to say thank you. You were my inspiration to start writing. I live in Alabama, and in Birmingham there is a school called the Alabama School of Fine Arts. Well I live in a small town of Rainsville, Alabama. My teacher gave me a paper for a writing contest that the ASFA was holding. Every 6th-8th grader was allowed to enter. My teacher was the only person that I ever showed my writing to. But when I started watching you Kat, I was inspired to show people my love of writing. I ended winning 2nd place in over 400 entries. Hamilton's so good! It's definitely one of my favorite musicals of all time. I got into the soundtrack in November and it's still ninety percent of what I listen to. There are a lot of other super good contemporary musicals, too, though. I'd recommend Spring Awakening and Next to Normal, or the Book of Mormon if you want something funny and aren't easily offended.

What causes reading slumps? I've never had one. After I finish a book, I immediately pick up another and stop reading. There's no time for reading slumps when I have hundreds of books to read.

I get reading slumps when I am not in the mood to read and it takes a very long time for me to get back into reading. but most of the time I have a reading slump when I have read such a good book that nothing compares to that and I just can't finish a book or I don't like it because the characters aren't the characters from that book i lovee so much or they aren't that cool or the story isn't that cool as that book xD

Their Fractured Light is amazing! I read it last month and it was so great, a great ending to the trilogy!The second book-This Shattered World is good too, but I think I prefer books 1 and 3 to that one, but still as a whole an amazing trilogy!! :D
