One thing that has always helped me in the past is picking teams with nba level guards. Inevitably when these teams run into a tight game, I find guards usually have the ball down the stretch to try and make a play. And these nba guys are nba guys because they have that killer mentality. So I’ve got Kentucky making a run to at least the final four with rob, reed and DJ closing out games

The East upper has 3 of 4 Final Four Teams form last year (UCONN, San Diego State, and FAU). Maybe that is why the Committee gave FAU an 8 and San Diego State a 5 - to make it interesting. FAU wanted to play UCONN - and now they will get a chance if they win Northwestern. San Diego State has Le Dee, but their guards can be super hot and super cold. But super athletic! Still, UCONN owns the East, even over San Diego State or Auburn.

Solid final 4, outside of zags (I get it with your fandom). Houston has a real shot this year. Great coach with Sampson, elite defense and good enough scoring ( not great but enough). Illinois has Shannon so they can make a deep run. I've got uconn vs Kentucky. This year was the most college b ball I've ever watched. Watched all year long. I will say winner of Auburn/UConn could take the championship. Definitely high on both teams

One thing to consider is Kansas has arguably the best starting 5 when everyone’s healthy. If they could get past Samford and then the winner of mcneese and zags they will have a week to rest up and get healthy before likelu facing purdue. I like Samford and mcneese as upset teams but they’re not actually anything scary/unbeatable even without mccullar/Dickinson and zags should’ve been a 7 seed. I think a semi realistic outcome is kansas limps to the sweet 16, then is healthy enough when they face purdue and they make it to the elite 8. At that point they could easily make the final 4 assuming everyone is good/healthy enough for that elite 8 game. And Kansas in the final 4 wouldn’t be a very common prediction

Yeah, I don't trust McCullar's health, Samford presses all game and runs 10 deep and that game is in altitude (Salt Lake City)... I think that's an awful matchup for Kansas and they NEED McCullar. I'm tempted to put one of Gonzaga/McNeese in my Elite 8 now (don't know which), and keep the Samford upset because I think it's the likeliest 13 over 4.

@@BlazersUprise fair. I do think it’s relatively likely that zag/mc win the next matchup so u could just put Samford anyways… however, great teams are just great teams. There’s a VERY likely chance kansas is just a significantly better team. I mean even their backups should be better than most players on Samford. And I really do think if they get to the second weekend they could be scary af just cause that gives them another weeks worth of rest

I've been high on Kentucky all year. Guards win in march madness. Dillignham/Sheppard, Reaves gonna get them to final 4 imo. No defense, but I think they'll get their. Gonna go UConn vs Kentucky national championship . UConn wins. Only one complete team in basketball this year. All other teams have weaknesses. Auburn can win it all if they get past UConn. But don't think they will

Minix and Lathan are legit and I don't think Illinois has a physicality edge so that game seems a little dangerous. And Hawkins struggles recently have me a little wary. Good team that could go far but last time I picked a Big 10 champ to make the Final Four they lost in the first round🤣

My bracket final four is Auburn Arizona Duke Creighton I think with Uconn they are perfectly set up for an elite 8 showdown with Iowa State and Auburn is gonna come in and say not so fast. As a Tennessee fan, I feel bad for Auburn fans they got hosed and I think they’ll use it as motivation. I don't know if captains is the right word. Lap dogs of the committee, maybe? Have bought off the committee, maybe? Is under contract with the NCAA to always make the field, maybe? I have them as one of at least three teams who have no business being in the field. The other two being Clemson and Mississippi St. There are others, but these three schools are the most glaring examples of unearned priviledge in being in the tournament.

I hear UCLA used to be good. Lets get them in the field too. Oh, and Oklahoma A&M. They won a whole bunch of these titles back in the 40's. Lets get them in here too. Michigan St underachieved, or was simply not any good this year. Hell, if nothing else, how are they seeded higher than JMU? JMU won 30 games and beat Michigan St head to head. But that's not worth anything to you elitists living in your bubble. Michigan St is in because they are Michigan St. And I personally believe they have some under the table deal that guarantees them a spot. I don't know how long that deal is good for, but I guess its still relevant this year.
