We'll start this with: I'm not that bad at drawing hands. I thought this wouldn't be as good as it was hyped up on tumblr. It is. I didn't even do the grids. The IDEA of the grids and the explanations fucking boosted my hand drawing into orbit. I can do foreshortening now. If you want to learn how to draw hands. Try this. TRY IT. YOU WILL GET BETTER ALMOST IMMEDIATELY. BELIEVE ME WHEN I SAY THIS IS A GAMECHANGER.

He's the only one that's made things click in my mind understanding these complex ideas. Others just take for granted their already very experienced eye and that shows in their teaching.

@@sael5084 For example the steps going from boxes to more complicated forms. We usually get boxes, then some boxes added to them and suddenly complicated anatomical structures and it's hard to move there and keep any flow. The way Marco explains it we can learn to draw gestures, keep the flow and then add details, like here by twisting the simple surface that is easy to sketch. This was the missing puzzle I needed :)

I've been watching guys like yourself and Mark Behm and tons of others, for a while. Actually I remember getting a DS not for the games, well maybe some, but your blog on painting on one got me to get one, then the touch came out and now I'm using sketchbook which is a dream come true for portable painting. Just wanted to say hey and tell you that you are a true inspiration, you always seem really genuinely excited and eager to share and teach and cultivate knowledge. I read something the other day that went something like knowing that you don't know opens up a world of the ability to learn knew things. While I love that idea, it doesn't work without mentors, (whether directly or indirectly), like yourself and your fellow colleagues. We're standing on the shoulders of giants. Great stuff; can't wait to watch the video! All the best! Marc.

My name is Yoshikage Kira. I’m 33 years old. My house is in the northeast section of Morioh, where all the villas are, and I am not married. I work as an employee for the Kame Yu department stores, and I get home every day by 8 PM at the latest. I don’t smoke, but I occasionally drink. I’m in bed by 11 PM, and make sure I get eight hours of sleep, no matter what. After having a glass of warm milk and doing about twenty minutes of stretches before going to bed, I usually have no problems sleeping until morning. Just like a baby, I wake up without any fatigue or stress in the morning. I was told there were no issues at my last check-up. I’m trying to explain that I’m a person who wishes to live a very quiet life. I take care not to trouble myself with any enemies, like winning and losing, that would cause me to lose sleep at night. That is how I deal with society, and I know that is what brings me happiness. Although, if I were to fight I wouldn’t lose to anyone.
