_Notice Marco's dynamics._ Some notes are accented, and some notes are brushed lightly, almost ghosted. That provides the sweet syncopation of the finger-picking, and brings out the melody. If your fingernails are just the right length, you can get a lot of sensitivity by choosing how much of each pluck is from the fleshy ball of the fingertip, and how much is from the fingernail. You will never get this from thinking too much about it. It is more about feel, listening to your own playing, and feedback. Your brain will grow the new necessary neural pathways while you are sleeping.

I just got my first ukulele... four days ago, haha ... and this is the first thing I've been learning how to play alongside chords. I wouldn't say it's been easy but it hasn't been insurmountable. And I love how a lot of your videos are rooted in simplicity and the fundamentals. For a beginner, like me, they've been so motivating - it makes me want to establish a stronger foundation in new and interesting ways, instead of defaulting to song books before understanding things like progressions. Thank you so much for sharing, I've been learning a lot from you in a short amount of time already! ☺️

Thanks for the video! So i tried this and for some reason on my (probably cheaper) Ukulele, the G chord at the end doesn't quite sound nice. So i tried something else and for everyone having similar issue, try E7 for the last chord. It gives the progression a whole different feel but still sound really really nice. E7: 1 2 0 2

Not too difficult at all, I’ve owned my uk two weeks and can do this… my only confusion is that almost none of his chord versions match my little cheat sheet, so I hope it doesn’t confuse me later when I play C7, Am, and F. It sure sounds beautiful, I’ll be strumming this I think during private worship. I love the minor chords especially for worship. 😍

He's not touching the E string....pattern is G C G A .....I had to slow motion it to get it , he doesn't spend a lot of time explaining the pattern ....1st string , 2nd string , 1st string, 4th string. Hope this helps 🎶
