Don't forget the last entry of Ballas from the Sacrifice. "But it was not their force of will, not their Void devilry, not their alien darkness. 'Twas something else. It was that somehow, from within the derelict horror, they had learned a way to see inside an ugly, broken thing- and take away it's pain." That is the true power of the Tenno, even beyond their Void powers and transference. The Indifference.... The Void... The Man in the Wall... We are his opposite as much as he is ours.

An insanely cool detail: hear the crowd counting down and shouting happy new year at the end of the 1999 scene, when Albrecht/the man in the wall talks to Arthur? That whole 1999 sequence was showcased at Tennocon, an annual event that the devs put on with showcases, trailers, a live crowd, etc. Early in the show, they asked the crowd to count down from 10 and shout happy new year without saying what for. They did the gameplay showcase at the end of the show, which concluded with that scene, and in that time they had taken the audio from the crowd and put it in the game, and it still is the one used now. When you played it, you were hearing a bunch of Warframe fans and the devs themselves yelling that all together

one theory i have heard in the community about this is that the Indifference is the villain because it is Indifferent. that the evil of love and joy is not hatred or sorrow, but an indifference towards all things. cause while sorrow has the potential to consume someone, so does toxic positivity, and sorrow is needed to process, accept and live on with the pain. and while anger and hatred can be destructive, they can also be used to effect change such as anger towards inequality, and hatred of injustice. but indifference leaves one to stagnate and the world to rot without trying do what you can to make them better. this is why you win not with a massive fist fight of giant machines (though granted that would be awesome too) but with you reaching out to show compassion and empathy to an entity that may not know or maybe forgot what those are. granted this is a theory still, but its my personal favorite so im sticking to it.

For those confused by the Lore Khra is Voidtounge for Time and the mentioned Strand of Khra is how the Man in the Wall is able to appear in our reality via it's severed finger. Should it reunite with it's missing finger, then it will be unbound and free to leak into countless timelines and realities. The Deal for those interested was between The Man in the Wall and you the player to save all of the children on board the Zariman. It then reduced the infinite number of you's via eternalisim into 2, The Operator and The Drifter. If you want a Deeper dive into this quest, I highly recommend StallordD's video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/mqHafZuoZr2XqNU Overall this quest was amazing and I was blown away by some of the tracks like the combat theme you hear in 1999 and the Murmer Boss fight.

It has been speculated, hinted and maybe even shown ingame that the reason The Man in The Wall came to be and become what it is now personality and all due to Albrecht Entrati being the first contaminating the indifferent, formless, empty and pure Void with his essence as his Seriglass diving bell broke in the void sea. Like an immensely powerful and ever so highly curious baby imprinting onto a person. This update has been filled with tons of lore and revelation. There are hidden notes/audio logs by Albrecht that helps connect him with the Kingdon of Duviri and lore cutscenes during each ranking up with the Cavia syndicate. And for my most favorite and most accessible one with this update would be the multiple random lines that the Cavia will say to you. Just walk away and then approach them without interacting and they will say some of the most profound things.

I think that when Albrecht first travelled to the void, he imprinted on the entity, creating it, shaping it. The indifference could symbolise his own and also all humanity's indifficerence. There's a saying that goes He who allows oppression shares the crime. I think that the indifference in humans is dangerous and that's what the man in the wall analogy is about. We do know that the void is shaped like reflections of the tenno universe but duviri further elaborates on this by establishing that reality in the void can be shaped by visitors like the self-proclaimed child-king tenno who creates his own world. When Albrect Entrati as essentially the first person to ever set foot in the void did so, he created a reflection of himself and then fled from it. His fear and pain during the trauma of entering this unknown realm, might have shaped it's first individual. The conceit and greed masquerading itself in his desperation to amount to something in the decadent world of the orokin society might have likewise shaped the void entity. His shunning of the void entity's ask for friendship in that fearful meeting might have sparked it's fury. The idea that it's not Albrecht Entrati that escapes the void but the indifference is also exciting but more likely from my pov is that it split Albrecht, stealing his voice and his sight for itself. The Albrecht that escapes the void could be tainted alike how the Cavia are.

So having the entire quest culminate in the release of romantic tension involving him...kind of soured the payoff of getting a new lab full of haunted shit to blast.

i believe your theory that the operator is some version of Arthur holds weight, because Arthur's beard changes color depending on the operator's hair color, because I had green hair on my operator, and during that sequence, he had green on his beard.

Nine Inch Nails - Into The Void song is cleared for all streamers to use on all platforms. At least that's what they announced during Tennocon on the reveal

@@MarcoMeatball :D we'll have to check with Rebecca. Maybe the song was cleared only on streams of the Tennocon, but I thought she was pretty clear it meant for playthroughs... Maybe the copyright claim triggered automatically irrespective of the contract between Trent and D.E. We ... we will never know.

you shouldn't have been copyright struck. Digital extremes, at tenno con said that the song would be free for the public to use and bought it's trademark specifically for creators like you to enjoy and live stream the moment with out worry or fear. they were deliberate about preventing this specific issue. I would contact de on their support page

1999 is a pre-warframe era, you literally played excalibur before he become mindless warframe. And you can actually heard Aoi (the girl on the radio) produce mag's ult sound. So it's not an alternate universe
@OfficerPorkchops10 ай бұрын
There’s no way Arthur could be the same person that became the first warframe in the main timeline, the first warframes were created during the Orokin era, and the Orokin don’t even use the same calendar years as us. I’m thinking it’s more likely Albrecht meddled with that time period somehow when he arrived there, since the characters keep talking about getting him, and the infestation is spreading everywhere.
@AmaiarAiramand10 ай бұрын
From what little I understood about the lore so far, Warframes were created by using the infestation on elite warriors and letting them be converted into hollow husks for the Operators to use. This was also done at the same time than the unearthing of old weapons of metal and powder, since the Sentients were able to adapt to the more technologically advanced weapons way too fast. So, the fact that in the past we see an adult soldier wielding a simple sword and assault rifle and donning a very similar physique to the Excalibur warframe COULD be a sign that, in the Orokin era later on, said soldier and weapons were to be used again in the War against the Sentients. Of course it could also all just be an alternative universe/timeline, just as with the Operator/Drifter thing, but there is grounds for argumentation that in this occasion it's actually another Paradox, where Albrecht traveling to the past is the very reason that triggers all the consecutive events, creating a perfect cycle on itself

I don't think Arthur is THE Excalibur. Albrecht went back in time and basically copied Ballas' warframes, so I think Arthur is just Excalibur because that's what Albrecht copied (and from a meta/gameplay perspective a nod to the starter frames that we are familiar with), also note that Albrecht made Arthur and Aoi half-frames, as opposed to the full-frames in the Orokin era (who lose their humanity and need complete Tenno control, whereas Arthur retains autonomy yet still feels *someone* in his head when we Transference through the vessel). It definitely isn't an alternative universe though. :D
@quantumblauthor730010 ай бұрын
Loid refers to "conceptually-embodied timelines" so it's barely even an entire alternate universe, just a chunk of one that Albrecht messed with

I just went back to warframe after like 5 years. Back in the days I just got tired of grinding, and I was shocked that how much content they put in this game in the mean time. However I feel the game is not that stable but its fine. I think thats the success of this game lies in the capability of devs creating atmospheres and the music is just amazing...sounds and music can create wonderful atmospheres and they nailed it and the story telling like in the second dream when we are just shocked for a couple of seconds and get confused about what happened, these things are unique and the game is like a good dramatic book. Full of drama, lifelike stories not pink clouds everywhere and it plays with your feelings. The closest thing to this is Detroit Become Human and Beyond two sools. Gamers especially deep thinkers and interoverts are these types, like deep meanings and stories and we like when a game playes with our feelings.

Apparently the Infestation/Technocyte virus already went rampant in ages past, way back to at least 1999, and was not an original product of the Orokin,. In the lore fragments that you obtain from fighting the "whisper" mini-bosses throughout the mission, you know that Albreit was able to time-travel back to 1999 at some point, made contact with some individuals and brought Warframe technology back to that time, Arthur and Aoi probably got "warframized" by Albreit from all that. The vessels are apparently made with Arthur's and Aoi's neuro template and stuff, which is why the transference got directed to Arthur during the 1999 segment, somewhat.
@thimovijfschaft327110 ай бұрын
I think Albrecht brought the Infestation to 1999 too.
